The staff was rude and ignored out table the entire time, I took my friends for a birthday party and they had the worst time.
probably one of the worst service and food. chinese people who work there have no idea what the meaning of being nice is strong accent and attitude made customers feel uncomfortable. they stare while eating. take dishes away without asking. food is just so old. shushi seemed like it was made da…
There are two negative reviews here and I don't know what these people are talking about. We have come here at least 3 or 4 time and will come back. The food is great, one of the best in Houston. Mu favorites are the oysters and all of their vegetables and chicken. There is a lot of variety. The…

Every since we moved to the area, we had a hard time finding a good chinese restaurant that delivers. Well, our search is over. I am happy to report that we were all happy with this restaurant. The food was delicious and the person who took the order was really polite (a rare thing these days…
We have eaten here many times and will continue to. The selection of meats, not only seafoods, is extraordinary! And this is one of the few places that offer "you slice it" roast beef, and some of the best FROG LEGS outside of Louisiana. the staff are extremelyt friendly and then buffet table…
Went there today with my husband. there was one other couple there. the waitress was on the phone and didn't even seat us or ask us if we would like any thing to drink. after ten minutes, we decided to leave so she could finish her phone conversation.
I ordered out for delivery, and I must say I was pleasantly suprized. I ordered the shaggy dog, shrimp tampora, spicy tuna roll, eel roll, and the califorina roll. Me and the rest of my family were thoroughly impresses with all the rolls. We would have liked it to have arrived a little quicker, …
We ordered jalapeño beef, hunan beef and beef lomein with egg drop and wonton soups........ every single one of them were awesome!!!! The lomein was my favorite of all!! Nancy has the best customer service and we will be sure to come back here even though we live in Channelview!!!
When it comes to Chinese food, this place has been what I compare others to for the past 15 years. No one seems to make each dish consistently as good as Hunan Gardens. The one thing they have changed recently is their egg rolls, which is a shame, they used to be a lot better.

food was not good not tasty at all, no variety for vegetarians, my relative who eats meat tried the meat and seafood and disliked the food , nasty food they don't even deserve 1 star, also the deserts are stale dry and yucky. DO NOT GO HERE
Poor service. Hair in my food server didn't do anything about it. I have to pay for food anyway. We won't come back
This place deserves 0 stars. We decided to give this place a try today and we were the only diners for most of the Sunday lunch hour. One other couple showed up. I am not sure how they will survive in the restaurant world. I tried the lunch special for Sweet and Sour Chicken and left most of it uneaten on my plate. The sweet and sour sauce has not flavor. The fried food was too greasy. I actually spit out the bite I took of my egg roll because it was soaked in oil. The rice had a weird smell and was bland. We sat for awhile with empty drinks and I thought to myself how can they fail to take care of our needs when there is no one else here! The waiter finally came to ask if we wanted refills and of course we said yes. I later noticed on our bill that we were charged for refills. I inquired about the extra drink charges and he said refills were not free. I complained that we were not informed and that every other restaurant in Houston gives free tea and soda refills. I told the waiter and the lady behind the counter we would never return and they just ignored me with a we don't care attitude of no response.
I drove all the way to your restaurant from Magnolia because on this site it states you are open on Sunday. I get here and you are closed so I hope to try your restaurant out some other day and please correct your information on the site
Food was almost 2 hours late! Everything taste gummy and a week old. Not the fresh Asian food that I am use to... I ordered $25 worth of food and threw it all away including my daughters Kids meal. After this horrible experience we had to order pizza :(
The service was horrible, the food was greasy.
The man and lady are just plain old crazy the for is ok but the man and that crazy lady got me taking my money else where no customer service skills at all.....
We ordered from here. The Lo Mein was good. We also ordered the garlic broccoli. It was also good, until we found a long black hair in it! Disgusting!!! I called to let them take care of the situation and they didn't care. We will never order from here again.
I have been to Hunan twice. It was in the same week in fact. The first time I had excellent service. The waiter was VERY friendly and attentive and I received free refills on my coke. The second time ( a couple days later) I had a HORRIBLE waiter. He had the personality of stale toast and refilled my dining partner's drink for free but insisted that there were no free refills for sodas. Then to top it all off, he never brought the drink back of my dining partner even though he said he would refill her tea. I will have to seriously reconsider returning to this place. The food is good but I don't think it is good enough to deal with the waiter's attitude. In addition, I really dislike how they allow the delivery guy to sit in front of the store with his music blaring. I get that he has a great sound system - I just don't want to have to listen to it when I am trying to converse during my meal.
