Dr Saferin did not care to hear I thought I had psoriatic arthritis in my toes. He was annoyed I looked it up on the internet. He said his arthritis test came back negative. 30% of psoriasis sufferers get it. A common sign is having psoriasis under the fingernails, which I had. He sold me cheap inserts for my shoes and played dumb when I asked about other inserts at stores. He wanted me to come back in 3 months with no idea why my toes were swollen.I went to another podiatrist who listen, noticed I had some kind of arthritis and guided me to a arthritis doctor. This doctor knew a lot about shoe inserts and told me which ones to buy. What I found out is there is no blood test for psoratic arthritis and I do have it. All the symptoms shared with Dr Saferin were textbook but he refused to listen to me.
