I'm very loyal to local asian marts and usually i only go to the same one every week, I noticed this place and decided to stop in. Usually i shop for thai/lao food but this store looked intersting. They had very good prices on things like fresh veggies and pomegranate juice. They even sell korean ice cream bars, great for summer! Not only do they have good cheap stuff, they also sell high quality herbs and teas. They also sell BB Cream, which is very hard to find in the states! They were good quality too, only $28.00 for top quality Hanskins BB cream. They had lots of cute toys and snacks for kids, or grown women like me who like cute stuff :) They were very freindly and their food was good, so I'm definately adding this to my list of weeking shopping spots. They also have an adjacent resturaunt, which im planning on visiting soon.
Fantastic Grocery store!! The employees are always friendly and helpful, and the manager (who seems to always be there) is always involved and making sure the place is clean and running smooth! Ive even seen him bagging groceries and helping people out to their cars with them! They have an excellent selection of seafood and their meat section is always well stocked and looks fantastic!! The butcher (who also seems to always be there) is almost always stocking and taking care of his section, no matter what time of day or night we go there! They almost always have a nice sale going on in their meat section, and even their regular meat prices are usually HALF the price of Krogers meats, especially T-Bones, Strips steaks, ribeyes, and pork! The store is trully a gem!!!
Erie foods has been in business for years and everyone in the north end has went there at some point in their life. It is a little neighborhood store with great prices and friendly cashiers for the most part. There is one cashier who is a big old B n the guy in the deli department is a jerk. he wont even take off the wrapping before slicing cheese or meat. You go to make a sandwhich and you find out there is clear plastic wrapped around your cheese. Moe the owner is awesome though. He should fire Ruby and that man in the deli.
Where else can you find all the things your grandparents used to have around the house when you were a kid? Churchills. I have been going to churchills since The General himself was around and was a friend to all who entered his store. Walt Sr. was a great man and I am glad to see the tradition of great customer service has continued today, and It would have made him proud. I love churchills and there is nowhere I would rather shop.
I always use Sofo for my Italian cooking needs. They have a very large selection of many different Italian delights! Their staff is always friendly and very helpful. I used Sofo bakery for a large order of cannoli for my wedding and they were very accommodating and even gave me 10% off for placing a large order! Thank you very much!!!
You have to go there and see for yourself! I am from Taiwan and I found lots of stuff that I have missed for years! There are food items directly imported from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Thailand. I found many things I love! They even have ShabuShabu stuff that I can use for the coming Chinese New Year. I AM HAPPY!
Their prices are lower than most stores. I always get their Absopure Natural Spring Water which is usually 4 for $10 ( great deal ). They are close to the expressways, fast food restaurants and have plenty of parking. The employees are very friendly and helpful too. They do accept the EBT card too ( food stamps ).
I have been all around toledo and yet still the service I get and the quality of the product is ..........? Its hard to describe. I guess you will just have to go and find out for your self. Oh yea ask for Andy.
Very friendly staff, nice selection of beverages, updated facility seems a little empty but only due to advertisements not taking up acoustical space. Would rate 4 1/2 but page wouldn't let me.
Stanleys has special items that one cannot get elsewhere. Some of my favorites to get here are items such as Polish ham, Kielbasa, and Polish Coffeecake.
