There were 4 other people beside myself that walked out of our appointments this morning due to rude woman named Peggy at don’t desk. I don’t understand how this type of rudeness is acceptable and I see the reviews list this over and over wow
Lady at the desk was very rude. Although she was busy she was not polite at all. I gave her the prescription my doctor sent me (who is located in California) and it was to billed to their account. She kept screaming across the hall to other woman working that she doesn't know what to do with what I gave her and that I don't have insurance (Which I do, but this particular test was to be billed to their account). So then she wasn't able to locate the doctor because she was searching for him in Florida (which I didn't know she was doing), so I mentioned that they were located in LA and I've only been in contact via email, then she was even more rude than before saying, "well that would have been helpful to begin with since I was searching for the doctor in Florida". Well I'm sorry I don't know how you're computer system works but if she would have asked I would have told her the location of the doctors office. She also made a fuss about reentering my information after having to search again for the doctor. Overall it was very unprofessional and I was actually shocked the way she was yelling down the hall at the other employee where other customers could hear her. The lady who actual did my blood work was nice and professional even when the other woman was interrupting us asking her to deal with my paperwork.
Staff was so rude. Walked in at 6:30 am, time they opened, and the women at the front desk talked to me like I was stupid because I didn't make an appointment (wasn't required& there was only one other person there). & in between this time her and another staff member were talking very badly about another employee that wasn't there. I went back to the desk to ask a question about my test, and she snatched the paper from my hands, didn't let me finish asking my question, and talked over me. I wanted to leave, but unfortunately this is the only labcorp near me.
I had never been to LabCorp and wanted to ask a few questions,I had tried to call but the phone rang off the hook then it was forever busy so I went in. I asked if I had to pay my deductible at time of visit and the lady tried to talk to be with a mouth full of food and said she couldn't tell me that and gave me a card to call. And when I mentioned that I thought id come in since the phones were busy..she mentioned the phones have been having troubles for over five years. Im guess that's about the time frame she has been working there. I hope my apt goes better than that.
The nurses here are wonderful, I travel from Orlando because they are so good at their jobs. My veins are hard to hit and they are right on the money every time. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Unprofessional, loud and somewhat rude to patients.. Talks about other patients to other staff and patients
This was the worst experience ever with a health care provider. They shouldn't even be classified as such. The staff is rude and uncaring. My disabled husband was very upset about their treatment of him. To top of it off, billing is a joke. They TWICE mistyped the insurance member ID and because of that they couldn't collect from our insurance company. It's not like they were working from handwritten records. They have a COPY of their insurance card. Anyhow, in both cases they sent us grossly inflated bills (nearly $600 for general bloodwork!) billed as "Private Insurance". We have only been there TWICE. We corrected last time's billing mistake, and yet the next month the same problem. We called the insurance up and said "NEVER AGAIN. We would much rather be changing health care providers than returning to that place."
clean office, friendly nurse, easy place to find
