I was traveling the first week of July 2015. I found my BMW headliner in need of repairafter arriving in Florida. I drove by kevs auto and marine canvas in Titusville Florida. I inquired about having it recovered in my BMW. Kevin quoted me a price of $300.00 but then tried to get $400.00. He wanted 50% cash upfront. I said when I drop the car off Monday. He then tried to get me to pay all upfront before even doing the work. No. No. No mr. I talked abit more to him about the process. I found him very willing to talk about his work and supplies. He was great at talking himself up and slamming his local competitors. He said his products he used were superior as his competitors used supplies purchased at flea markets. He sure put on the sales pitch. He even stated to me "I have never worked on the same car twice". Now this statement could be taken two different ways. One view meaning the work is so good they didn't need to come back. However with my experience, this was certainly not the case. I should have taken it as meaning, the work Kevin does is careless and very poor quality when it comes to other peoples property. He got glue on the leather and burlwood. He broke the door trim between the passenger side front and back doors. He pushed this lower trim piece back into place, so it woud stay just long enough for me to get up the road without me knowing. He left old glue scrapings everywhere. I asked about a vacuum with the reply its at his house. Kevin did not even clean up his mess. He led me to believe the headliner would be removed and worked on outside of the BMW. What a dirt bag schiester. He way overpriced the job and then had total disregard for the care of someone elses property while in his posession. This guy needs to go back to working on a fish boat as he told me.
