Hidden Valley Camping Resort

I wanted to warn folks about Hidden Valley RV Park in Tijeras, NM (outside of Albuquerque). Cars going up and down past our camper, knocks on our door after 10:30 at night "looking for my sister," intimidating residents staring my family down as they drive by, all allegedly part of an active drug dealing enterprise allegedly supported by the park's manager. We left early ... too dangerous to stay.

Great place if you like drunks. We decided to go farther east and found the RT66 Park in Edgewood. Nothing fancy but peaceful

The people at Hidden Valley are the friendliest and best.

The campground is fantastic. The park is located in a beautiful area and is very well planned out. There is something to do for all ages, from the playground and pool, to hiking trails, and the library. The library is fantastic. It includes puzzles, toys, games and movies as well as a wide variety of books. The laundry room and restrooms are clean and the grounds well kept.

Many campgrounds today are only for RV ers. There are quite a few spaces for tent campers to choose from. The prices are reasonable and it is convenient to Albuquerque.

We have stayed there many times and have referred everyone who is heading that way there.
