I have eaten all over the world and Gin's rates with the finest anywhere. The food is superb, the atmosphere is great and these make up for some sloppy service once in a while when Gino is working to ensure that you get food in the same manner that he would serve you in his home. We stumbled onto Gino's by accident and quickly became our favorite place to eat in Thousand Oaks. I have brought business guests here as well as my family. I would recommend Gino's to anyone looking for a place to entertain with the best food anywhere.

You feel so welcome in this cozy restaurant. It feels like they are preparing those delicious meals just for you! Gino and the staff are so down to earth, you really feel like you are right at home. The critics like ""RFortune"" should stick to fast food and corporate restaurants because they just won't get what a gem of a restaurant Thousand Oaks has in Gino's. There should be more places like this to enjoy! Its a little piece of Italy right in our own back yard!

Absolutely the worst food we?ve ever had anywhere! When the bread arrived, it was stale. Still hoping for a decent meal, we placed our orders. We asked for a margarita pizza with proscuitto. We received a greasy cheese pizza what looked to be luncheon ham on top. Then the ceasar salad came. We opted for anchovies, which, was too much as the salad was already drenched in anchovy sauce. Again, too salty to even eat. When our entrees arrived, my husband?s veal came with toothpicks still in it drenched in a watery white sauce described as mushroom cream. Disgusting. No vegetables on the plate; only hot pickle wedges and burnt potato chips. My entree was nothing like it was described. Pork tenderloin with mushroom risotto. What came to the table looked to be pork shoulder with no risotto whatsoever! If Gino?s was ever good, it no longer is. My husband has been suffering all morning sick over the few bites of ?veal? he ate. Gino should be ashamed of himself.
