They boast about protecting the value of your property and have inspections and maintain your property while it’s occupied. We were very strict on no smoking and no pets. The tenant did both. My last tenant completely trashed our condo. This is with the quarterly furnace filter replacement and multiple little items fixed almost monthly. e.g Changing light bulbs, replacing batteries in doorbell, unclogging drains etc. Which I was charged an arm and a leg for each time. So they were in there almost once a month over 4 years and never reported these lease violations!. The carpets had animal soaked urine throughout and was embedded in cement subfloor. Baseboards were urine soaked. Blinds were trashed by the cat. Vertical blinds chewed on by dog. The smell was so bad it almost knocked you over upon entering. They never reported this. There was a couple thousand dollars worth of damage done. You don't even have access to the full security deposit, they keep $200 for processing. They kept very poor records of communication with me. Luckily I kept all my emails to prove what they had said.
One positive note - they do know tenant law and can protect you from doing the wrong thing with tenant relations.
I had appointments with leasing agent and he missed everyone.
I would NEVER recommend this company.
There is a special place in hell for this company and the people who work for it. After two years of renting from them I have finally finished all my dealings with this company and happily would pay any amount of $ to never work with them again. From the beginning I had problems with this company. My original person I deal with Lisa could not return phone calls or follow through on any of the paperwork for me to get the lease going. I had moved here in a U-Haul so I was motivated to make it work and I was able to stay on top of the process but by no means do they make it easy and there are fees that they forget to tell you about. Once I finally moved into the condo I lived there two years, and only had a few maintenance issues thankfully. Maintenance is a slow process and it takes a lot of time you better hope you don't lose AC in the dead of summer on 100 degree days because there is no urgency in their demeanor and I now understand that it is not considered a priority.
Finally my move out was the most horrendous experience I have ever dealt with in my entire adult life. These people specifically Brandi Bishop are unethical, rude, pompous and straight up liars. After they sent me two documents to renew my lease they left me a voicemail giving me the notice that I will need to move out. I am in a situation that I live alone and travel for work and I tried to get an extension to accommodate my travel schedule and at first they told me yes and then called back and told me it would only be on a week to week basis for $500.00 a week. I made the ultimate decision to leave my lease two weeks early because of my travel schedule and asked if the last two weeks could be pro-rated. Brandi Bishop told me she spoke to the owners and that the answer was no. It was worth a try. What I found out later about 5 days after I moved out was that they owners were completely shocked that they got the apartment back early. They had never been contacted about my requests at all. Brandi lied and told me she spoke to the owners. If it is a policy of theirs than she could of just said that. Let's also talk about the customer service. If you are a narcissist and enjoy being treated like a criminal and you enjoy being belittled than great this is the company for you. There is NO customer service here for you they don't give a flying crap about you and they have absolutely no problems being as rude as possible to you.
Do NOT work with this company they are the devil, please take the extra time to work with someone else or look elsewhere. These reviews are serious and this company will make your life hell!!
I normally would not do this but I have good morals and values and this company has NONE! If you are an owner or renter, I would NEVER EVER do business with these people. They do not return phone calls, they will accuse you of lying, and have nothing but lining their own pockets on their agenda. They are the epitome of greed in America. Even worse the owner's claim to be"Christians." Don't even get me started on that!!
Their staff will not treat you like a human, and will say one thing and then say they never said what they said. I'm truly shocked, offended and disgusted that people are allowed to treat customers the way they do. PLEASE PLEASE SHARE this with everyone you know. I don't think anyone should have to experience such horrible business practices!
Perfect! I really appreciate the dialog with Real Property Management. With a recent issue I’ve seen more effort and had more contact with you all over the past 24 hours than I did with the previous company over the past 3-4 years. Real Property Management has run everything very smoothly and my house was only empty for a month. They made sure the property was inspected after the previous tenant, and got all the maintenance done in good time. I appreciate all their hard work and highly recommend this company.
We chose Real Property Management to help us with our move to Denver and they have been very professional and helpful. They've answered a lot of questions for us which has made everything so much easier. We're very pleased with them and very happy with our new home!
