Terrible service and place is filthy, old sticky food all over the menus and silverware. Prices way too high for the quality of food served. Waited 20 minutes to even see a waitress, ordered drinks and not friendly. After almost 30 minutes still no drinks and waitress no where to be found, so we just left and went to Gators and had great service there. Will not be going back to Codys until they get their act together and clean the place up.

I have lived in the Villages for 2 years and eaten at Beef O Bradys for many meals. Most times the service is horrible but due to the monopoly you have on golf cart business I continue to eat or DID continue to eat at your restaurant. I have had poor service, been served my food and almost finished my meal before my salad arrived. I can never get a drink refill but continued to eat here. We wait to be seated and ignored as we wait. Then get no waiter or told that they can only take a drink order since others are waiting to order food. Couldn’t believe that type attitude but overlooked it. Today was the final straw. After waiting for 15 minutes I notice 2 booths open. I was told that this was for 5 or more and that's just the way it was with an attitude (we were waiting and needed table for 4). My husband did use the "f" word after that as we walked out. This type of attitude is normal from your staff but we always have overlooked it. Talked to the manager and was told I am a BAD customer. Well my money along with as many as I can bring with me will talk to you. Anywhere USA you would be out of business but in the Villages we seem to accept mediocre service at best! The manager telling me I'm a bad customer is the last straw. I'm sorry that my business doesn't matter to you. Just shows the continuing bad attitude of your staff. What happened to customer service? This team doesn’t understand this concept. The “hostess” has zero personality and a sharp attitude. My husband perhaps shouldn’t have used the “f” word leaving but even if he changed the wording this team is a disappointment to any SERVICE organization.Forgot to mention I overheard people that were seated complain they still hadn’t gotten either food, drink or placed an order. This type of service would put you out of business BUT again in the Villages we accept this as the best we can expect. Well not me or anyone who will listen. SAD.
The din in the restaurant is overwhelming...The service is acceptable, depending on the server; the food is over done for the most part and the price of Yuegling (sp) beer is $12.50 a regular pitcher....$12.50 for domestic beer!!!!...Only go there for the 2/1 fajitas...on Wed...
came in for lunch on Wednesday was told no lunch menu or early dinner menu ordered daily special of grouper fingersfood came and fish was very dark taste was bland not at all worth 15 price tagon way home had to stop and throw up called and spoke to assistant manager to have hime check fish before serving others he said he would check and call me backNever heard from him guess he just wanted to get rid of meliked this restaurant before bur most likely will not be backBernie
Just had dinner tonight with my husband and brother-in-law. Simple order... Burgers and chicken. Waited an exorbitant amount of time for the order ( after rush hour - about 8:30 pm). Two dinners as ordered- one burger ordered medium rare arrived very well done/ sent it back. Everyone finished dinner when the re-ordered burger arrived .......we'll done. Sent it back. Waitress apologized / manager took burger off the bill. Never have sent food back Twice in my entire life!Definitely a problem here in the kitchen and with management. By the way.... I have worked in Foodservice for 43 years. I have only sent food back 3 times ( twice tonight) - they never got it right!
We once again had the pleasure of taking out of town guest to dine at Cody's. Thank you Ashley for waiting on us and thanks to James and Carrie making sure we were well taken care of. It is so nice to see friendly faces in a very busy place. The food was good and served in a timely manner. We look forward to returning to eat at Cody's.
I am so horrified by what I just witnessed in your business by a man who claimed to be the general manager and the server said his name was James... A faily next to us whom I spoke with outside before coming in and she was a very polite and well informed woman about the Villages as My husband and I were there looking for a new home..(which I am giving a second thought if this is the type of people that work in these places out here..Plus I am sending this letter to the ceo of the Villages and the local paper... The woman was having a problem and was being polite this rude and untrained man was so nasty and didn't have one skill nor training in him..I will never visit one of your establishments again nor will anyone I know..This man told this woman and her family to get out and raised his hand to her she was in tears and my husband almost got up to knock this man down..Who is this kid who thinks he is a man to talk to customers like he did no matter what was going on.. What a disqusting way to run a business..Signed a very unhappy customer
Just received horrible service. Waitress Heidi was slow and inattentive. We never received a refill for the whole meal until we flagged down manager Brian who didn't seem to care we were receiving bad service. No excuses the restaurant was almost empty. No apologie from Brian the Manger and no offer for a discount on the bill. Not the kind of service you expect in the villages. Don't eat a Cody's. Plenty of other choices with best service and better food.
At the casino in Pa. This Johnny R hamburger s are delic, but here inThe Villages I feel they are precooked and come cold and the fries even colder,As if they put the fries on the plate and 10 minutes later the burger. Also endless fries but they never re ask .
Food was great but the 11 hour 5 mins wait after our order was taken stunk. Tables that came in right after us were served and finished before we received our order. All the waitress said was Wing baskets take longer. Then after finishing our meal we waited 10 minutes to get the to go box and that was after i called her. Must of forgotten. Took 1 hour and 50 minutes when it usually takes 45 from start to finish.
