Had lunch there today for my daughter's birthday. When I placed my order for ground beef nachos I asked if the toppings (meaning the guacamole, sour cream & jalapenos) came on the side & she said they did. At one point she came back out & said to me that they could only have the cheese "on the side" & I said that I wanted the cheese on it & that I meant the guacamole & jalapenos. Our meals came out a different times several minutes in between plates & then when mine came out it was, I believe, the cook who brought it out & it had the chips, refried beans & ground beef on them & he asked if I still wanted the cheese on the side. I said I wanted the cheese on them so he took my plate back & it took at least 10 minutes for him to bring it back. Everyone else at the table was almost done with their meals. I had remarked earlier that the chips with the chips & salsa were stale, well the chips with my nachos were twice as stale plus they were very hard to eat as the cheese would come off in full with the first bite leaving behind the nachos originally brought out to me. The meat also had a weird taste. For a price tag of $10 (which works out to be about a $1 a nacho), I was not pleased at all & was only able to eat 2 due to the fact that they were so hard to eat. If I had a respectable napkin I might have eaten more but at that point after trying to get the cheese to stay on the nacho my hands were in very much need of a washing. Why do restaurants insist on using non-absorbent cloth napkins & why do they only give you that one that is wrapped around your dinnerware where you have to find a place to land them while you eat chips & salsa? Hate, Hate, Hate dead bulls on the walls. The waitress was nice but my 5 yr. old nephew asked if they would sing Happy Birthday to his mother & he was told they don't do that but gave her a piece of cake. I could swear we had been to Gringo's for someone else's birthday that they did sing but I know they were busy so I don't fault that.

Everytime I have been there they have had great service. Breakfast is always done right and they never get it wrong. Lunch needs a little work but dinner is also great. They have a little bar there with great drink specials.
I went with my gf on a Fri night and it was pretty crowed, but otherwise it wasn't too bad. Pretty generic Mexican food as expected, but it was good.
Love this place, breakfast is great and dinners are awesome. And let's not forget the great margaritas,
