Theron Jones Early Literacy Center is an elementary school that serves more than 300 students in pre-kindergarten through grade one. The center s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, science, writing, math and social studies. It provides guidance counseling services. Theron Jones Early Literacy Center also publishes a newsletter. The center organizes family nights, Christmas parties and parent workshops. It offers gifted and talented programs. In addition, the center conducts educational filed trips. It provides sports participation in baseball and soccer. The school works in partnership with Holiday Inn Express and Regions Bank. Theron Jones Early Literacy Center is a part of the Texarkana Independent School District.
