BBQ & Soul Food Buffet

$10.00 give or take gets you the best deal on BBQ you will ever find. Been going here for about 30 years. It never advertizes or coupons. It has decades of loyal customers. If you live within a days drive you should go here.

Smokey meats, ribs, chicken, sliced pork, sliced beef, and soul food of many kinds, plus desserts.

See my posting, eatwhere, on urbanspoon for more detailed review.

Stay at home

First of all if you want packaged pancakes stay at home. If you love liking a salt block eat here. Worst breakfast you can ever imagine. Watery eggs, staff stands and constantly stirring food like gravy, eggs and cheese to keep the water and grease from floating to the top and they stand on the side where they customer goes through the line not behind the steam table.
the prongs used to pick up the food are hot to the touch and do not have good clasp on them to open and close.
The place smells of mold when you first enter and everyone is crammed on top of each other. This was my first and last breakfast experience with them and I had eaten dinner there once but forgot what I thought of the place. One bite into the food and I remembered it was never again.
Waitresses stand at counter with arms folded talking loudly but not paying much attention to the customers.
Link sausage was mushy on the inside and did not have the pop to the skin most links have. Packaged biscuits with salty I dont know what it was supposed to be gravy. Had a desk fan set up on the fruit so I assume the cooler was not working properly and the cantalope tasted like it had spoiled. I had exactly one bite of each item I took and could not eat any of it.
My suggestion pass it by and go get a McDonalds biscuit and be happy you had a breakfast you could eat.
