DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. THEY HAVE A TERRIBLE RETURN POLICY THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE. I bought two pairs of underwear for $20.63. I paid cash. When I tried to return them because they were too snall I was denied my cash back because of their return policy. However, if I had paid with a card, they could put it back on the card. No one told me about the cash rule and I specifically asked several employees about the return policy. Also, some of their workers are very unknowledgable and unhelpful.
I had the most wonderful experience when I went to Castle located at 8802 N. Black Canyon Hwy the other day. Even though I have been in this store before I get a little nervous about going in the store that I LOVE for all of its "trinkets".
I must say when I walk into a store, ANY store, I don't like it when a sales clerk asks me if they can help me before I even get my foot in the door. It makes me uncomfortable, and of course Castle being a store for intimate things, is no exception. I appreciate that the sales staff don't come at me and pressure me with the latest and greatest. That is one of the reasons I LOVE Castle. It is no pressure and therefore I feel more discreet.
I have generally had enjoyable shopping experiences while there. The other day was even more exceptional because of a certain employee, named Mike. I was stumped about a couple of products I was interested in and when I looked for help, (I only had to look at the other end of the isle) there was MIKE!
I was IMMEDIATELY put at ease by the professionalism with which he conducted himself. The product knowledge he shared with me was very informative and quite a relief to me.
I wanted to get a special something for a 'friend' so when Mike explained that we'd probably be able to get more 'pizazz' (my words) and frequency of use, not to mention, maybe even more fun, with one that could have the batteries replaced when needed, instead of the "disposable" type it was an easy choice for me.
Mike asked if I needed any further assistance and when I said I wanted to wonder around a little more, he told me he'd be close by if I needed anything and he'd help me when I was ready to check out. AND THEN that Super Sales Clerk took the item up to the register for me!!!! I felt Mike was so very thoughtful for doing that. Now, I could walk discreetly around the store without being embarrassed about anyone seeing my purchase. BIG THANK YOU MIKE!!!!
As I proceeded on with my browsing I found another item that I had been wanting for some time now, but didn't really know what type would best suit my needs. When I looked up there was my Super Sales Clerk once again to my rescue! Again, Mike's exquisite product knowledge enabled me to choose what I knew would be to my liking. When I asked him if he had ever used the product and if so what he thought of it, he openly shared his experience with me. I was so tickled he did. Mike was not shy or boisterous about it at all. He simply stated his opinion. A true professional all the way.
I have been to other intimate stores and have always left without purchasing anything because of the immature, unprofessional, unknowing, naughty younger people that worked at said stores. On a few occasions I have even been asked out on a date by the employees at these other stores. That was so creepy to me that I felt like I was in a pen of drooling pigs and I was concerned about my safety when I left.
You can only image how refreshing it was for me, (a woman in her 50's) to get the help from Mike; who is a mature man that knows how to take care of a customer. As I stated earlier, Mike's professionalism put me right at ease. I knew I could ask him any question and he would answer me honestly. I appreciate that Mike treated me respectfully and discreetly.
I will definitely return to do some more shopping because of the courtesy that was shown to me by Mike. Thank you so much Mike!
