These guys are incredible. Daniel responded to my online inquiry immediately with exact pricing and details, and offered to move us within two days, ON Easter. He sent a friendly reminder confirmation the day prior to the move, and he showed up (yes he worked alongside his guys on a holiday) with his guys right on time. They prepped the old house, and the new house when we got there, with tarps covering the carpet in the high traffic areas and padding on the doorways. They were hella fast at wrapping everything and getting it in the truck. They worked well as a team, they all had company shirts on, and were super personable, and patient with me and my wild kids. They were super respectful of our belongings and everything arrived in perfect condition. I am still amazed how quickly but efficiently things got moved over. I thanked one of the employees for moving us on Easter and told him I was sorry he had to work, and he told me it was ok because he got to move a nice family to their new home. What a great dude. Each one of them shook hands with us before they left. I rarely take the time to review a business unless but I was so blown away by this crew. This is definitely the type of company, crew, and owner, that I want to see succeed.
Daniel was the consummate professional during the entire moving process, and was literally the best mover I have personally worked with (and there has been a lot). I needed mover to unload 2 relocubes that we used to ship our stuff from California to Phoenix. He was able to book me in last minutes and help me unload everything that was in cube. Honestly one of the cube was disaster the way other mover packed from my original destination but they didn't complain and get the job done within hour and a half!!! Thanks so much!!! Now I can relax a bit and do some unpacking which is another nightmare. But at least unloading was done without any stress. Thanks so much again!! Will call you next time!!!

I would recommend Soft Touch Moving and Packing. The whole experience from a quote with Lisa ans the move with Scott and Mike was flawless. We did a local move of furniture only, 2 bedrooms, a dining room, a living room, sun room and media room. Price quoted at 1,120.00. Everything was wrapped, disassembled and loaded with great care before lunch. After lunch, it was time to unload and reassemble. Again, flawless. At the end of the move, we even asked them to move the biggest piece (of course) from one wall to another. They didn't even hesitate. Actual price 790.00!They are all young men, but work professionally and with honesty and integrity in a way beyond their years. You are in good hands and don't need to stress about anything. They Only had for a month and this unit had to been submerged, no liability on their parts, our personal items and furniture were destroyed. If you have any issue with this company you can not get a call or email back from them. Review the contract in detail, they are not responsible if at their fault.

For both local and long-distance moving companies, AMSA is another good place to check out a company's legitimacy. Moving companies aren't required to be an AMSA member, but the ones that are have committed to the association's rules and regulations, which protect both the companies and the consumers hiring them. If a company isn't an AMSA member, that doesn't mean it isn't reputable, but an AMSA membership is a clear indication of legitimacy.
