From Business: Come to Villa Italian Kitchen at 5003 S Arizona Mills Circle, Tempe, AZ for a delicious Italian meal. Villa Italian Kitchen was founded with one store, one family…
I got here last weekend with some of my friends. One of my friends highly suggested their astonishing meatballs and I took it, I understood why it is their best selling.
The food is very good. The wait staff act like it's there 1st day on the job. The manager walks around talking to his staff instead of finding out if there is something that could remedy the situation. This is my 3rd time here and it keeps getting worse!
My employees and I love to come to OPA in the mornings for our weekly meetings. The coffee is fantastic and the greek fries can not be beaten. The employees are always upbeat, friendly and welcoming which is another big reason we keep coming back. The atmosphere is very good here as well, good music, multiple TVs and even sometimes live music. With the exception of the live music is it rarely too loud making it a good productive work environment. Overall a very relaxed, fun and clean environment that we at Clean Air Lawn Care would recommend to all!
After years of patronizing this restaurant in both the old and new location, we will never return after the treatment we received tonight. We brought many new people there. had family celebrations there etc etc. Many times we received their "coupon" program cards and stickers and never used them because we put them in a drawer and forgot about them. The stickers and accompanying booklet were never ever a motivation for us to return. Recently we moved and discovered a booklet and what appeared to us to be stickers that we could fill one booklet and receive a free entree. Mind you, we have spent thousands of dollars here over the years. At the end of the meal we presented them to our waitress. She returned and told us that two of the stickers were for the same date so she started a new booklet. I asked "so we dont get a free entree?" And were told "next time". So I said to my dinner partner, "then lets just rip them up", in effect since they appeared useless and we never had used them before. No biggy. Wasnt going to prevent us from coming back one way or the other. She overheard that and asked if she should get the manager, I said no its no problem. Not 5 minutes later a woman with long gray hair approached us and.....this is the kicker........said "You want me to rip those up for you?" I said no but asked her to explain. She said that two were for the same date and therefore the free entree was ineligible. First of all, we never asked for the manager. Secondly her confrontational approach was uncalled for and inexcusable. On our way out I approached her and asked if she was the manager to which she replied she was the owner. I said we had been coming there for years and she interrupted me and said well you said you were going to rip them up and I offered to do it for you.I was astounded at such rudeness and lack of respect for a customer. I guess they neednt worry about it. They are always packed. What a shame! All over a $14.95 entree!!
We came to this restaurant by chance, without knowing it, a Sunday in the late afternoon. Very good meat, very good service, salad bar. A very positive experience.
Food was over priced antipasto salad 11.99 meat just layered over greens, husband bent fork trying to cut up. Kinda of funny, when food came was not hot and it wasn't like they were busy. I would not recommend
bartender Mac, outstanding service, took a bunch of crap from Margaret with a smilebest of luck, sir
