Ok, let first say that this was my third time renting from this Avis. And before this rental, I very easily could have given them four out of five stars. I would never give them five out of five because the customer service has always been questionable. But, the vehicles have always been so nice. Clean, well maintained, and newer models with all the bells and whistles.The Agent was predictably flippant when we arrived. After giving her my license and credit card, she demanded another card to a two hundred dollar hold on. Now, I do not remember ever having to put a two hundred dollar deposit for damages down before. And I do not understand why it could not be placed on credit card I made the reservation with?!? But, I complied. The agent then went and got the car, I met her outside she did not do a walk around of the car and told me she was busy. Now my fault for not demanding one, because when I got back to Menifee to pack the car up I discovered that it was FILTHY inside. The car had lighter interior, the back seats were stained and garbage had been left in the floor boards. The bottom of the cup holder was dirty. The passage side of the center console had something sticky dripping down it.As I traveled down the highway I realized that this model was very base. No bells, no whistles. I could not even charge my phone. As I drove it over the weekend I was frustrated because the tire pressure indicator kept lighting up if the temperature outside the car dipped under 83 degrees. When we dropped off the car the agent was especially rude, and dismissive. I tried to tell her about the condition of the car, and how I had to clean it before I could even drive it. I also tried to warn her about the tire pressure indicator. The whole time I was talking to her she was standing behind the counter with her hands down her pants adjusting her belly flap! Because her hands were down her pants she did not make notes about my complaints...soooUntil this rental I have been blinded by the flashy cars. Having one rent-a-wreak quality car has opened by eyes and reminded me that to me customer service means a lot. Avis might have low prices, but its not worth it to me if I have to deal with rude slobs to rent a decent car two out of three times.
Customer Service agent was so rude. I had a manager from a different location listen over the phone, even he couldn't believe how rude he was. I have yet to receive my $100 refund.
We made reservations a month prior, but when we arrived to pick up the van, they told us, with all the calm in the world, that there was no car available, even though we had reserved a month prior! Unhelpful employees and terrible service, I really don't know who these fools think they are. NEVER renting from them again, and by other things I have heard about this office, I strongly suggest you don't either.
