I used to go to CVS until I just got so tired of their big business ways. A friend suggested Tavares Pharmacy, close to me. One try and I switched all my medication list to them. There are so many good things about this pharmacy, I'll have to list them all. First thing you notice, is how friendly and willing to help, the staff is. It's a small business, so you are taken care of personally, and the pharmacist, or the p. assistant, takes time with you, to explain everything you need to know. They also will call you, to remind you about refills, (something CVS would never do). My friends daughter was very sick and when she called them, to see if they were open because it was close to closing time, T.P. told her not to worry, they would wait for her. They did, and she was able to get her meds. They also deliver and won't accept a tip, even tho I would gladly for the help this service gives me. When I need a refill, they will call my Dr. and submit it and they are never out of medications, which everytime I'd go to Walgreen's, they'd never had my med. in stock. There's always a short wait to get it filled, compared to Walgreen's, CVS, that is usually 1-2 hrs. wait. I've just have so many good things to say about TP, and I'm glad they were recommended by word of mouth. Try them once, and you'll see for yourself, what a difference they are. If you want a pharmacy that has an old time feel, and personal attention, I suggest you give them a try. You'll be happy you did!
