Captn Jack's Bar and Grill

We came today on the boat. Awful, awful, awful. Came up, grabbed a table and was clearly seen by several waiters but ignored for 20 mins while two other tables were served next to us who came in after. Went up to see what was going on. Was told we were not receiving service because three members of our party didn't have shoes on (hey, could have said something instead of ignoring us completely!). It was clear they knew we were there and it would have been more professional to inform us.. is it that difficult to come up and say "hey! Mind going and putting some shoes on and I'll grab you drinks."?

Np, went and grabbed our shoes.

We Proceeded to order food. Asked for more chips and got eye rolls. Server was decent other than seeming like we were a huge inconvenience. No idea what happened today here but we won't be returning. going to look into different restaurants nearby on the water.

Least the food/music was good. Hats off the the cooks and band. Gave two stars for that.

I've read mixed reviews, so initially I was going to go to rusty bellies, BUT... Rusty bellies are NOT pet friendly. Hubby and I bring our four legged kids most places. So I called here and they welcome pets so we gave it a shot. Glad we did! Now we not only have another waterfront pet friendly restaurant to go to, but a sports bar as well for our Packer games! Double bonus! Tony was our waiter and he could not have been nicer and more accommodating, but absolutely EVERYONE was super nice...maybe it was because we have the cutest Chihuahuas in the world*) but maybe they are just all really nice young folks! Refreshing!
That all said, they had to deal with a tough crowd; I, being from Wisconsin where everybody smiles, says hi, chats with you, many of these patrons were cold as ice! Definitely NOT from Wisconsin, or Florida for that matter. I really felt sorry for the staff as well as the band.
I would have liked to see a bit larger portions on some dishes like the fish and chips and the prices are a bit above average, like $10 smoked fish spread? I thought $8.00 was expensive for a scoop of fish and some crackers, (that's at another waterfront restaurant), but this is PRIME real estate after all and I'm sure all the lovely taxes are a B...H! Plus they have a dozen or more staff members on! We never waited for anything, the food came out quick and hot, hot, hot, and the seafood is fresh. We WILL be back! God bless!

Very nice waitress Food exceptional By the water

My friends and I went there on wednesday night and had a great time. We sat at the bar and had a couple of appetizers that the bartenders suggested and they were great. The two girls behind the bar that night were awesome,they were hilarious, We cant wait to go again!!

Under the new manager's direction, this places has been totally transformed into a fantastic local hangout. Live music, great food(I recommend the fried oysters), plenty of parking, large screen tvs everywhere for sports fans, and expanded and upgraded seating inside and out, including a tiki bar with ceiling fans, what more could you want for a great dining experience!
