Meineke in Tappahannock has good people and great service. I was referred to by co-worker and they did a great job. Tires for the winter season coming up and inspection. Gave me good prices on Bridgestone and Goodyear, and they were good about everything else. Looked everything over afterwards. Everything was changed approprly. Will get the full synthetic next time around. Have not regretted coming here several times now.

I'm normally cautious of car repair places but this was my 3rd visit to Meineke in Tappahannock for different unrelated problems over the last couple years. This auto repair shop did an excellent job communicating the problem (brakes and wheel bearing) with my car and the solution. They kept me updated on status and delivered my car on schedule and per estimate (actually a little lower). I highly recommend this shop for routine items.

There is no other place that I would take my vehicles other than Meineke in Tappahannock. This auto repair shop has service my "97 Infinity and "01 Dodge Caravan and both have come out driving like new vehicles. They get the job done fast and accurate. Very honorable company and family and he keeps you in a good mood. Meineke in Tappahannock also has great customer service. Extremely knowledgeable staff. They were absolutely no pressure. They fixed just what I asked them to and didn't pressure anything else, even though I know it needs more. Words that describe the trust-worthy, people of integrity, pleasant, dependable, knowledgeable. They will get all my business from now on.

The temperature gauge of my car, which usually stays just below the half way mark, began rising to the 3/4 mark while idling for short periods of time.

Enter Meineke Car Care Center in Tappahannock. I remembered Meineke in Tappahannock as being the shop that I had heard good things about previously. I called Meineke Tappahannock and explained my predicament and they began talking about some of the issues that might be the problem and confidently told me that he could repair whatever the problem turned out to be. After speaking for just a few minutes this Meineke Car Care Center was able to put my mind at ease.



When I arrived at Tappahannock Meineke to get my car, they went over the entire work order with me and fully explained everything. The entire staff were absolutely outstanding throughout my entire ordeal. They have certainly earned my business.

I first came to the Meineke in Tappahannock like so many others, with a coupon for an oil change. I'm new in town and intend to replace my old vehicle next year, so I'm not really looking for a regular auto repair shop at this point, as I just want to try and get my old Beetle until Summer. Unfortunately it's at that stage where it seems to be one thing after another, and as anyone with a European car knows, the parts are far from cheap.

So I was fine enough with the earlier service to take it back to Meineke in Tappahannock when I noticed a strong gasoline smell in the car just after filling the tank, and my Check Engine light came on. Turns out I needed a new fuel pump, the cost of which was painful. Meineke Tappahannock showed me the actual part cost, and because I had brought a coupon for $50 off $500 or more, this auto repair shop actually gave me $100 off, as my bill totaled over 1K. I wouldn't have expected that, and felt it was a nice gesture, as that was a big cost for me. But here's the best part for me: I work from home and so don't drive a lot, thus, I sometimes only fill up once every couple weeks and my car seemed fine until a week after I got it back, filled up, and the Check Engine light and gas smell returned. I called Meineke in Tappahannock and they told me to get it right back to them, and because it was under their service guarantee, their car care center literally dropped everything to scan the code and fix the leak (it was another part that hooked up to the new fuel pump that didn't connect well). I was in and out quickly with no additional charges. So I just filled it up again this morning and that light came on, and the gas smell was back. I just returned from the Meineke Car Care Center in Tappahannock, where once again, they dropped everything for me, and ordered a new seal-- the new one that had come with the fuel pump was faulty--and replaced it immediately. Once again, no charge for parts or labor, the apologies were profuse and genuine. Again last week my light came on again. At this point I don't top off the tank, so there was no smell of gas. I called them and they ordered a "gasket kit" this time, trying to get it right. They replaced the part a couple days ago. We'll see how it works. For now Check Engine light is off again. And again, no charge for anything. Now, in a perfect world, none of this stuff would've happened. I don't know everything that goes on behind the scenes, but I've been driving a lot of years now, have dealt with many auto repair shops, and I think these guys are the best. They've certainly treated me with respect and responded immediately to ensure my car is safe to drive.

When I was given a car by a family friend a year ago, the fellas at Meineke in Tappahannock really took care of me and my car, and have continued to do so ever sense. Even though this car was over 15 years old it only had 33,000.miles, however there was an age problem with the gaskets and all had to be replaced. These people do a great job, and have kept this car on the road for me. .Thanks Meineke in Tappahannock.

After becoming increasingly frustrated with another local auto repair shop provider, we began going to the Meineke in Tappahannock. Every time we call in need of a service, we are greeted with happy, helpful voices on the other end of the line. Everyone at Meineke in Tappahannock is very friendly and is able to answer my questions, no matter how different they may be. I highly recommend this Meineke Tappahannock and especially this particular location.

Meineke Tappahannock is quite frankly amazing. There are 2 things I look for when going to an auto repair shop. 1st is the attitude and knowledge of the employees and the 2nd is the quality of the work and the ability to fix problems. With this said I have been to a fair amount of various auto repair shops in the area so I can say this auto repair shop has one of the best mechanics I have met. The work is some of the best I have found. I brought my 02 mini cooper in for a new resonator install and ended up with a cat back exhaust done (I needed and wanted this as it was my idea if they had the time). Needless to say I will recommend Meineke in Tappahannock to everyone I know with exhaust work. I have not had anything else done there but I will most likely come back with anything I cant do myself in the future. These guys were really fun to hang out with and extremely polite and nice. This type of customer service just isn't found anymore. Especially in corporate companies which is why I was so shocked and surprised! I would definitely recommend making the trip to this auto repair shop.

Everything you want in a car repair place! They never fail to exceed expectations! They do great work, honest, and have fair pricing. The guys do a good job explaining what is going on with your vehicle. I always feel like they are giving me a great deal.

I have my absolute trust in Meineke. I recommend him to all my friends and family. I had my sister, Dad and boyfriend all switch from their mechanics to this shop. I get all my oil changes and routine maintenance done at this shop. If your in need of a mechanic then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

In addition to the repairs you request, you'll probably get a "to-do" list on upcoming car repairs. The importance and necessity of each is told to you in an easy-to-understand way and with respect to your budget.



Overall, this was a positive experience. My car is a bit happier (I went in for maintenance) and the staff was very cool. I will certainly come back in the future.

There is nothing these guys can not fix. Their technicians are professional and efficient. The manager is a great guy. I always do my oil changes here. But, this last time, I had a "check engine" light ON. They checked my car and told me that the light came on because of my loose gas cap. I guess I forgot to check it. Oops. I am glad they were honest with me and I will always recommend Meineke to all my friends. Thanks Guys!!

They took the time to inspect and let me know what was involved. They ordered the part and it came in within 30 minutes. The installation went great and I am pleased with the price. Good luck guys, you'll be seeing more of me.

Hands down the best muffler and exhaust shop in Tappahannock. They also do just about anything you would need mechanically for your car i.e brakes, suspension, alignment, motor work etc. Very honest, reasonably priced and pleasant do to work with.
