This is my second post. In one year, they have raised the lot rent two times. After this second increase, the rent is now 248 a month. Rent is never adjusted for water outages, these occur many times during the month without notice, and for long periods of time. You would think that paying this price, I would not have to go somewhere else to take a shower for work or to brush my teeth. I now keep many water jugs in my house so that I flush the toilet during these times. For this price, you would think that you would have paved drives or at least adequate gravel for your driveway, that you would not have to worry about have continuous water availability, free wifi with a strong signal, and other amenities. But none of these are the case. The office personnel is rarely available during office hours and do not return calls. You are never given prior notice that they are going to cut the water off for repairs and in addition I have trouble receiving mail and have had to obtain an alternate mailing address because on numerous occasions there is a slip of paper placed in my mailbox that tells the post office that there is not a resident for that address which means mail is sent back. This has caused many issues for me given that I have not received important mail. The office has been informed of this many times. Too, many of the lots are still in disrepair from the April 2011 tornado. For example, some lots have no utility poles, other have poles that are leaning badly, cracked concrete patio slabs, missing and torn up fencing boards, and the list goes on. If I had my time to go over, I would NEVER rent a lot here. I could have received a better price in a nicer park in Madison or Athens. But once you move in you are stuck because it cost too much to move your mobile home again. I feel the park knows this because they offer to buy homes from people who want to move. In my opinion, this is a scam to get residents homes for little cost.
