I had a problem with UPS rescheduling a delivery. Instead of making an attempt to redelivery it, the local office sent it back to the original sender. I spoke with the customer service department, 3-4 times and the problem was still not resolved. Then I received a call from the corporate office and now the package is on it's way back to my house. The corporate representative was very professional and courteous, and assured me that the package was being returned as fast as possible, and that I will receive a refund for the shipping.
STAY AWAY.!!! Cant express that enough. Management is so unprofessional. Hired on thursday, worked, came in friday worked, told to come in early monday. Got a call monday morning from the staffing agency saying dont come in anymore, they decided to hire back the guy who quit and i replaced, after i just went out and bought new clothes for the job with money i didnt have. They didnt even have the balls to call me themselves. COWARDS. If your thinking about working here DONT.!!!
On time very polite and got straight to it didnt take the 30 min and then they came at 11:00 pm at night
Just made my first visit to this store, and I love it! So friendly, and efficient. And I was escorted to my car, under an umbrella, as it was pouring rain! Rare to find such service anywhere!
I have never wrote a review, but this time I could not help it so I had to: This is the most horrible experience I ever had in my entire life, do NOT go there, the manager/owner is a very dishonest and horrible person. go anywhere but this store.
I contacted Ray at Fam4You , who was recommended to me approx. 2 1/2 weeks before our scheduled move to get a quote. He (or someone from his organization) sent me an inventory form to fill out and send back. I filled it out and sent it back, receiving a response that it sounded like 2 moves in 1- they would send 4 people to multitask on both the POD and truck and to estimate $100.00/hour. In a separate email they said Ray would come out to inspect the site after the POD was delivered. I kept in contact (by text or email) over the next 2 weeks and verified that Ray would come out on Fri, July 25th after the POD was delivered. When he had not shown up or called by 7:00pm Friday I tried calling them in a panic since our move was supposed to be first thing Monday morning. Diana Garcia from their office called me back and assured me that everything was fine and although she did not know why Ray had not called or came out she said she could come out Saturday morning to inspect and verify my inventory was accurate. She came at 9:00am Saturday (July 26th) and verified that everything was ok and we were very organized and appeared ready for them on Monday. She also verified that they would send 4 men at $100.00 (as per the original email quote) but thought we only needed a 16' truck instead of 24'. I expressed my concern about a Thomasville wood 4 piece wall unit my Mom has and how we would protect it in the POD since we had no extra blankets, etc. She said they have tons of blankets and they would shrink wrap blankets to all the furniture, they always did that. I reminded her that these items were going into the POD and she said no problem, they would just get their blankets back when they unloaded the POD in a few months. Everything seemed good until Ray showed up on Monday morning- with 3 men- NOT 4, and 1/2 dozen blankets for the entire move. When I told him what Diana said and they needed blankets for the POD he said it would be fine that they did this all the time and just let them do their job.They loaded the POD with no blankets or protection on any furniture except sheets of cardboard I provided to partially cushion the wood on the wall unit, tables, chairs, chests, etc. Upon inspection while they were loading and after they left- most items were grossly unprotected. Because of the way they just shoved things together there was already a large scratch on the one wall unit piece I could see. I spent over 5 hours trying to re-wrap and cushion items I could access that were wood next to wood, and re-arrange items because nothing was secured from shifting when the POD is moved. If I could have delayed the POD pickup I would have paid someone to come out and repack it the way it should have been done by them.Because they did not have the proper equipment or manpower it took them over 7 hours to pack the POD and truck and unload the truck. They charged me $90.00/hr for 3 men instead of the quoted $100.00/hr for 4 men. Then they added another $100.00 to cover cost of Budget truck they rented and fuel, which was confusing because they say "All of our quotes include, Box truck, insurance, gas, mileage, labor, tools , dollies, protective shrink wrap, hand trucks, furniture pads, free wardrobe boxes(if requested) etc."I have moved many times, both locally and state to state and they were the most unprepared, unprofessional "movers" I have ever dealt with.
called for quote ,at 3:30pm on Friday, then after invoicing customer, went to ship , Saturday morning and the shipping was 8 dollars more and the packing was 10 dollars more, same measurements, weight and location, bait and switch or incompetence? Either way took my shipping elsewhere
Kevin Hodge does an excellent service and at a very reasonably priced cost.He IS my air conditioning guy from now on.
