AWFUL! Spent $80 to alter a $300 Prom Gown for my daughter and it looked like a homeless drunk person altered it. Too short for even flats! They argued with me and tried to blame it on me and my daughter. Now I understand why they have a lock and buzzer on the door. When we purchased the dress someone else was in the store complaining about their dress being ruined by altering also! Shary and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. Shary found the gown of my dreams that fits my wedding vision just perfect. And she kept me at a price I was comfortable paying. I couldn't have asked for anything more during my shopping experience!

I recommended this place to my daughter for her wedding gown alterations. I cannot say enough good things about Emelina's regarding their alterations and fitting service. It was obvious from the first moment that they really care about excellence and they really know what they are doing. They were fussing over my daughter and her dress throughout her two fittings and when something was a little off on the second fitting, they asked her to wait while they fixed it so that she could take the dress with her and it would be perfect. The woman who created the bustle for the train showed me how to attach the loops and arrange the pleats. Everything about this experience was delightful, and it was worth every penny and more. I had a HORRIBLE experience at Brides by Demetrios! They placed unwanted stress upon me just weeks prior to my wedding. I ordered bridesmaid dresses through Brides by Demetrios towards the end of March of 2015 (my wedding is the beginning of November). I was assured that they would be in BY August. I asked several times prior to ordering to ensure that I had plenty of time to get the dresses to my bridesmaids (who all live in different states). They did NOT come in by August, nor was I called to be notified of a delay. I had to call them. I called once weekly to check up on the dresses the month of August, and every time I called I was assured that the dresses were ordered and on their way..."should be here by next week" was they're go to answer. Clearly by the end of August they were not here. I called the last week of August on a Wednesday and asked that the salesperson call the company to give me an idea of where exactly the dresses were and when they would be here. She asked me to give her until the following Wednesday to contact the company. I should have been concerned that someone needs a WHOLE week to contact a vendor and get back to me....but alas, I decided to be patient and wait the week. By the following Wednesday I had not been called, so I had the day off and decided to actually go to the shop and see what was going on. I came in around 11 am to inquire about the dresses and why it had taken a week to do anything. The woman had the audacity to use the excuse "well, it only 11 am on Wednesday, the day's not even over." She wanted to take my number and contact me later, which I did not accept and asked her to call the company while I was there with her to find out where the dresses were. She "supposedly" called and assured me that the dresses were complete and that they would be here within 2 weeks. 3 weeks later, still no dresses. I had my mom call, which someone at the shop hung up on her, and my matron of honor call the same day at the 3 week mark, and they were given 2 different stories on the status of the dresses. At this point I reached out to my wedding planner, who assured me that not having your dresses that you ordered 7 MONTHS AGO yet, is concerning and we may want to look into a back up plan. She also said I was her THIRD bride to have a problem with them. I then spent another $1000 to order new dresses from a department. The dresses finally came in 1 month prior to the wedding, thank goodness. However, this is not the point. It took an inordinate of time for the dresses to come in and the stress that it put on me was not acceptable. When I confronted them when I got the dresses, there was no apology. The "manager," (I use this term loosely as she clearly is not managing anything) only said "well, the dresses came in, didn't they." Again, WORST customer service EVER!!!

I have worked with many amazing vendors during my wedding, including Kleinfeld's, but I had a truly terrible experience with Olga's Bridal. After working with the business, I got a feeling that they only care about their bottom line and making sure they get payment and do not care whether you and your bridesmaids have a good experience with their store. Very condescending and rude "customer is always wrong" type of attitude as well, they are not likely to admit fault, so be prepared to deal with any mistakes or misunderstandings with them as if they were your own. I do not recommend.

Don't be fooled by their chipper demeanor in the beginning, they are anything but pleasant. Also this store is so inefficient it's disgusting. Not only did I buy my gown from them but all 8 of my bridesmaids and my two flower girls have as well. So you think they would be thankful for my business?? Nope!I had an appointment to pick up my gown and get a bridesmaid fitted and her dress ordered. We stood at the front for at least 20 minutes before somebody finally helped. And then it took another 20 to get my maid's measurements.finally we were ready to check out, can't be too bad right? Wrong. It took over 45 minutes to just get information inputted into the computer to order a bridesmaid dress. And the woman asked me ten times and had me panicked about the color saying one girl was in a different color when in reality she wasn't paying attention to me. I told her three times they are all the same color blue and she kept thinking I wanted the sample color. She also tried to order me a bra too small. And the manager Barbara is a nightmare.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Beautiful dresses great service

DRESSES 4 STARS. STAFF 1 STAR. The dresses at Olga's are beautiful. Every single one was breathtaking. However, the staff was friendly to begin with, but when they realized my budget they quickly changed. They left me on my own to look for dresses and they only wanted to speak with me when it was time to pay. If you have a budget of at LEAST 1k then they will probably treat you right. If not, don't waist your time there because they act like they don't want you there. I understand it's business, but it is never right to be mean to a paying customer or even an intersted customer. Shopping for your wedding dress should be a very special time and they should treat you like a princess, however I felt nothing close to that.
