- Our favorite meat market for 30 years and counting My husband and I have been shopping at Quality Meats for the past 30 years, and to my knowledge the same family has owned it that whole time. We have never gotten bad meat there, and we have never found comparable prices anywhere else. We have now lived in several different places in FL much farther away from QM than we once did, and in every location we have been willing to travel there to stock up on our meats.We went canvassing around the New Port Richey area today looking for comparable markets, and the end result is that once again, we will be making the trek to Tampa for meats at the one meat market we've always loved and trusted. Bought some Ribeye in bulk, excellent flavor and tender, for sure.Great cost savings too, people are super friendly there.and it sure is a quality meat market.

Provided by SuperpagesThis is the best place in Tampa to buy meat and ;poultry. I have been shopping there for over 15 years and I have never had a problem. This is the store you go to for chicken wings, pork ribs, steak and their chopped meat is delicious.

Provided by Superpageshave been going there for nearly 40 years, and the quality hasnt wavered. At that time it was only one storefront wide. However, this week I bought a lot of what I thought, and had been in that spot and wraping, a lot of chicken breast tenders. They turned out to be mostly dark meat pieces and a lot of breading. Only time Im not happy about it in the least. They were a lot better and different cuts a couple of weeks ago.
Love this place. It is a bit of a drive but the meat is very good quality and at prices that are hard to beat. It is best to get there early as it has a small customer area to shop and it gets crowded.

Provided by SuperpagesI have been shopping at Quality Meat Market since 1972. (I know that it says that it opened in 1976 - but I was there, I know.) This is a family owned business, and the whole family is involved. Everyone there is so nice and polite and will help you with anything that you need. If you need a special order, just ask, and you'll be taken care of, and they are FAST! The meat that I have purchased there has always been great and the prices are much lower than grocery stores. They also have cheese and other dairy products, frozen vegetables, cold cuts and more. I NEVER buy meat or cheese anywhere else, unless I have a dire emergency. All I can say is - TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!
