Tonight was absolutely my last visit to this restaurant. In the past, I have felt unsatisfied by the quality of the food -- always mediocre at best -- but tonight I was cussed at, including multiple F-bombs from the server and "owner", and told that they didn't need our business, that we should go to another restaurant -- which we did.
I took my friend there for his birthday dinner. When we arrived, we noticed that there were no crab legs on the buffet -- but the price was still their typical full price which is advertised as including crab legs. So, before sitting down, I asked our server if they were going to be bringing out more crab legs. His response?
"I don't know...they are limited... we lose money on them."
So, I told him, well, you advertise a buffet with crab legs, so could you check with someone to see if they are going to bring out any more?" Again, his response:
"I don't know...crab legs are limited.... we lose money...... "
So, I told him, politely, if they were not going to have any more crab legs, we would go somewhere else. His response was,
"Oh, you want to go another place? Go, go on."
I was shocked, asked him if the owner or manager was there. He pointed out the supposed "owner", said something in Chinese, and then the "owner" began shouting, "Go on,, get out... go somewhere else.. "
Then.... the F-bombs began to fly. "Get the F-k out of here" "Go on,, I don't give a F-k about you!" "Go somewhere else!" etc. I had never raised my voice, or spoke impolitely to them -- I had just tried to reason with them and find out if they would bring out more crab legs.
I told them I would be sure to post reviews warning the public of their practices and rudeness and they became louder, and the server began to get in our faces, shouting "Get the F-k out, go on... get out you F-ks"
SOOOO, if this is the type of restaurant you believe should be successful, then by all means give them your hard-earned money. Personally, I feel they should be OOB.

Overall

My family has been going to this restaurant since it opened. Been there probably 0 times now in groups from 2 to 15 for birthdays and casual lunches. The staff has always been courteous and the food perfectly fine for buffet. They even make special sushi plates up when they find out it's someones special day. The place has always been clean and the trays never run out. I really wish we still lived down the street (moved to Clearwater 18mo ago) BUT we still go there every 6 months for someone's special day!

Overall

We always go with a big crowd after church. Last Sunday, when we all started to leave after we paid, the server grabbed my hubby outside and told him that our friend didn't pay. We all had our paid receipts this server called the cops. Really? Even the cops thought how dumb this was. I do not recommend this place anymore. Hibachi check your receipts before accusing people of none payment.
