Company refuses to honor it's warranty. Their mechanic improperly installed a transmission and they charged to fix his errors. I recently brought in a friend's Nissan Altima to have the transmission replaced and had it charged to my AAMCO Credit Card account. After picking the picking up the auto, the starter made a grinding noise when attempting to start the vehicle. Believing this to be a separate problem I took it to my regular mechanic. He stated that the problem was the screw in the transmission mounting was improperly installed and was causing damage to the starter. We had the car towed to their shop. The manager informed us that since another mechanic looked at the vehicle they would not honor the warranty. This is unacceptable because without having a third party inspect the vehicle how would they be found at fault. It is all around bad business to allow your employees to perform substandard work, and even worse practice not to fix the problem when it does occur.I currently have an open complaint with the better business bureau about the matter.

Nov 2014 I had a bad experience with this company located at 11612 N Florida Ave Tampa Florida, I do not recomend to no one, they swicth there prices. Im going in with not to bad tranmission and I come out with

the car doing nothing and changing my new battery to there old one. Plus based on Mr. Charles knoledge he charges his prices from one to another with no warning.This company is prepared to rob the poor....Im not upset because they didnt fix it all, I really wanted was estimate is the rob they do with me, the amount i paid for checking the transmission was $589.00 dollars. I explain to Mr. Charles before you do anything, If the fix was going to be more than $900.00 dollars, I said dont do it, Mr. Charles said based in his knoledge to fix the transmission is no more than that. After that day for 3 days no comunication i had to call him, at the end my price was $2,224.00 dollars really. They insisting me to get a finance anything, I was really clear that it was no more than $900 dollars. I call corprate and Mrs. Michelle said she coulndt help me to remburse the money cause i sign the reciept. If i dont sing they wont give me the car back. The mechanic when givin me the car he felt bad for me, and said sorry to me because of what they did to me. Even the mechanic new what was going on. Mr. Charles never gave me his face again not that his word was any good anyway.I EXPECTED SOMETHING MORE PROFESSIONALISM FROM THIS COMPANY, BAD DECISION . MY ADVICE IS TO NEVER EVER GO THERE. BAD PLACE, SERVICE, AND NON PROFESSIONAL.



Yo fuy a AAMCO por que vi que arreglaban transmisiones en Noviembre del 2014, mi transmision no estaba ni buena pero tampoco tan mala pq mi carro estaba corriendo solo que le fartaba unos arreglitos. Cuando llego a AAMCO en 11612 N Florida Ave Tampa Florida, el Sr. Charles me atiende muy amable y le explico que mi transmision esta fallando un poco y me pregunta si lo puede correr le doy el si, el cual mi hijo estaba conmigo cuando el Sr. Charles me dice que basado en su experiencia el entiende que no es tan malo lo de mi transmision. Le pregunto si arreglarlo es mas de $900.00 dolares me dice que no, el Sr. Charles me muestra que ay un cobro de $225.00 por revisar si ay algo mas que cambiar y $25.00 al mecanico por hora, le pregunto como yo se cuantas horas tarda el mecanico me dice que 2 y le pregunto si solo es los $225.00 y las dos horas del mecanico que si seria algo mas me dice que no yo acedo le pido copia del papel me dice que me al otro dia me la da con el bill, que no ay problema. Nunca me llamaron espere 3 dias y me toco llamarlos yo a ellos para que el Sr. Charles me dijera que el arreglo me salia en $2,224.00, jamas imajine algo asi, l;a insistencia en que yo cojiera un prestamo para pagar pq ellos mismo refinancean . Es un monopolio lo que tienen. Como no consegui que el refinanciamiento pusieron todo de nuevo al carro y me cobraron $589.00 dolares, me cambiaron la bateria nueva por una vieja que no servia y el carro me lo termine llevando tan dañado que no sirvio mas. Consigo el numero de coorporate y me atiende la Sra. Michelle y logico de esperarce que no me podia ayudar en devolverme el dinero por que yo firme el recivo, pues como le explique que si no firmo el recivo no me dan el carro. Solo se inmuto a decirme lo siento no te puedo ayudar. LO QUE TIENEN ES UN MONOPOLIO EL MISMO MECANICO NI SE ATREVIO A MIRARME A LA CARA CABIZ BAJO ME DIJO QUE SENTIA MUCHO LO QUE ELLOS ME HABIAN HECHO. ESTAN PREPARADOS PARA ROBARLES A LOS POBRES YO TRABAJO MUY DURO Y SOY MADRE SOLTERA Y E PASADO MUCHO TRABAJO PARA QUE ESTA COMPAÑIA DE SINVERGUENZAS DE CUELLO BLANCO ROBEN ........ NO VALLAN A ESTA COMPAÑIA !! ES MALA NO LA RECOMIENDO.

I call Charlie and Sam and they saved me thousands!

Great service and wonderful techs! Very easy to talk to and deal with! Lexus never ran so good!
