Great atmosphere with outstanding beer selections. Servers are attentive without being overbearing.
This is in my top 5 for the best beer bars in the Bay Area. They have rare beers and free events and music almost weekly, and a decent sized outdoor seating area, but it can be really packed on nights and weekends. Parking has been a little tricky the last couple times I've gone and I've had to walk a little bit down a block, but no big deal. Crowd is mixed, between a lot of old locals and neighborhood people and beer nerds and visitors and some art crowd and even punk rockers, but it somehow seems low key and there's not much of anything besides a friendly vibe here, unless you try and order Budweiser or something... trust me they don't have it and teased one of my work buddies over it, but suggested a good light beer instead. Food is good pub fare, it's sort of european. Coffee I haven't tried but the Cafe had a large drink selection etc.
Skipper's has definitely cleaned up a bit since I first moved to town, and has gotten some needed and deserved national attention. What you expect it to be from the outside is pretty accurate to what you're going to get inside. Most of the food is very good, but their tendency to offer Basa and other Chinese or asian imported fish, when we're sitting on Tampa Bay is extremely confusing and I hate to say it: a major turn off. The fried food here is good, and the oyster bar is a trip back in time. Concerts are often and many old guard blues and jam musicians have played through the place.
The worst Reben I have ever had, who puts cheddar cheese on a Ruben? The whole thing was cold and the bread was old, see why I have not gone there for over a year, the food is bad. Save yourself some money and go else where.
Great service and great tasting authentic Trinidad food one of the best I've had in the United States! TWO THUMBS UP!
Probably my favorite place in Tampa. Thursdays are the best. Cheap wings and beer and fantastic jams :p
Great customer service, clean and cheap hookah. Prices are the cheapest among other hookah lounges in the area. They provide playing cards and sunflower with your hookah.
I work there since Al Sham Cafe opened up. The management team is very nice and care mostly about its employees and customers. Hookahs all clean and cheap. Must come in and check them out!
Best Cuban, hands down! Awesome chili and fresh sides. Better ingredients for healthier choices than fried food. In the beautiful waterford building on rocky point.
great prices a AAA+ company
