The cake looked amazing, until I noticed the name was wrong. I was met with a blank stare, with no emotion at all. She was the person who took the order at the beginning of the week. She double checked to make sure the name was on the order (like that mattered) and it WAS ordered correctly. She said asked the other person taking a cake order to assist her in fixing the name. After a 40 minute wait, the two people in the shop working “attempted” to erase the name on white icing, used a different color icing to write on a smeared background. It looked terrible and unprofessional. I said it was unacceptable and asked the girl to reach out to the owners. After another disappearing act in the back for 15 mins, she said they were out on deliveries and could not take a call. I told her the party was on Sunday and I could meet the cake decorator back in the morning. Just a blank stare again and said she would see what they wanted to do. She just wanted me to take the cake and a small box of 4 petite fours for the problem and leave, she would call me after she reached the owners. 2 phone calls after I left the shop she said I needed to text her a picture, which I did, however the number provided was a land line and the shop was closed. Never did I hear back from Cakes Plus. I am very disappointed in their service. I served an unprofessional, expensive cake at a party for my grand baby. How embarrassing. I used them for other birthdays and for my daughter’s wedding, but never had a problem. I would give them 0 Stars if that was a choice. Rude and unprofessional.

I stopped by there for lunch. As soon as you enter, you can see the amazing detail and ambiance as if you were in a European cake shop. Very elegant & amazing setup. They greet you with a smile and excellent service. The cakes are amazing. Didn't know what to try 1st. They suggested to have 'burek' w cheese & a chocolate raspberry cake for desert. And was I blown away. The burek & cake were amazingly tasteful. Just awesome. Had a cappuccino and water. What an wonderful lunch. I highly recommended The Cake Shop to all. As I will most definitely stop by for breakfast. Thanx guys.

Omg just discovered this incredible place!! The cakes that me and my family tried are out of this world... They are all homemade italian/french/montenegro cakes.. We also had pastry with cheese/spinach and it was very delicious amd tasty. Best stuff we tried in a long time. They also serve cappuccino and freshly squized orange juice.Overall can't be more happy and satisfied with the service and delicious cakes.We will be back very soon!Thank you guys!

The "Go to" place for low carb bakery goods. Their breads, Lavash, bagels, etc., are delicious. Prices are much lower than what you find these products in health food stores.

Bought my mother in law's eighth birthday cake there. Wow. Edible red roses and gold bows. Cake was incredible and the fondant tasted good too. Highly recommend this place for really special occasion.

Sami's Bakery is wonderful! I'm from Illinios and order on line regularly. We are gluten/wheat free and the products offered are delicious! Not only have I already told my best friend about it . . . I've told all my friends about it!
