Aventuras Naturales was created in 2006 by Elston Chavarria with one simple philosophy : explore and enjoy nature while leaving it as undisturbed as possible. The focus of all our tours is equal parts adventure and stewardship. Keeping our groups small and working only with expert guides who understand and appreciate our philosophy helps us to maintain this delicate balance between exploration and eco sensitivity.

Aventuras Naturales is an ecotourism travel company dedicated to the conservation of natural habitats in the region in which we travel. AN focuses on eco-adventures like birding, plant tours and general adventure tours throughout all of Central and South America, including the Carrbbean. We hope to see you on our next tour!

We focus most of our tours on countries where eco tourism is still in its infancy. This resolve to stay away from overly touristy areas creates a tour which involves the local community – from planning to implementation. Our customers see their host countries through the eyes of locals, creating an intimate and personalized experience unheard of with larger tour providers. We also keep our group sizes small.
