The Stiell Law Firm is an outstanding firm. Ms. Stiell represented me in a family law case, and she went above and beyond for me and my family. She and her staff kept me informed of all matters concerning my case. I know for a fact that Ms. Stiell worked into the wee hours every time she had to represent me in court. Attorney Stiell always tried to prepare me for all the possible outcomes of my case. Although Attorney Stiell gave me solid legal guidance, she made it clear that how she proceeded in my case was up to me. Fortunately for me, I followed her advice. Not only is the Stiell Law Firm an outstanding firm, but their prices are also in line with other firms. In fact, I would venture to say that their prices are among the most reasonable in the area. Did I win everything in the end? No. Did my ex win everything in the end? No. Did our children win in the end? Absolutely! I attribute my children's overall well being and happiness to Attorney Phelicia Stiell, and her staff at the Stiell Law Firm. The Stiell Law Firm is OUTSTANDING!

DON'T DO IT!!! I do NOT recommend the services of the Stiell Law Firm!!!! As a former client, I can honestly say that this firm will try to STIELL your money!!! I experienced an extreme case of overbilling with this company!!! The contract that the firm provides to clients is a contradiction in itself (breach of contract). Although the contract states that the firm will provide clients a monthly bill outlining charges, that was not my experience. After paying this firm a substantial amount of money, I was hit with an additional, enormous bill AFTER the case was closed. No monthly statement was provided where a conversation could have been had between the attorney and myself regarding the direction of the case where finances were concerned. If so, I would have been forced to have this attorney withdraw from the case based on ridiculous fees and costs!!! And as a working professional and educator, I know I would have fared better in my situation, both financially and legally, if I'd represented myself!!! I highly advise anyone looking for an attorney in the Tallahassee area to NOT SECURE THE SERVICES OF the STIELL LAW FIRM. KEEP YOUR MONEY!!! You would be better off, as I, either doing the research on your own and representing yourself Pro Se, or contacting Legal Services of the Legal Aid office of the Tallahassee Bar Association to see if either organization will take your case at a reduced fee or low cost.The practicing partner in the Stiell Law Firm needs to return to law school and take additional courses on the ethics of law. If you take nothing else from what I've said based on my personal experience with this law fir, KEEP YOUR MONEY!!! Do not secure the services of this firm. Perhaps this practicing atty needs more experience in the courtroom. In my experience, this firm did not fight for my rights!!! This firm will try and STIELL your hard-earned money in this stressed economy!!!!
