Don't waste your time or money at this oyster bar. The food is horrible. This past weekend I went there and ordered a mullet dinner and 10 hot wings. When the food finally arrived the mullet was nearly cold. The fries were cold. Most of the wings looked like pigeon wings they were so small. I asked to see Jeff, the owner, and when he came to my table I showed him the mini wings I had been served. He said he had ran out of wings and had bought some from a local meat market which were smaller than usual. He also stated that the cook should not have cooked the mini wings. I told him I would like to be compensated for the poor wings. He said he would give me a certificate for free wings at a future visit. I waited at the table for several minutes and he never returned. I told the waitress what Jeff had said he would do. She said she would check and see what he was doing. I waited several more minutes and she also never returned. The table next to mine had ordered 20 wings and they showed me their wings which were just as small as the ones I had received. The waitress had left the bill on my table earlier so I left money for the sorry food, and a tip, and left. I will never go back to this overrated place again.
Let me start by saying that this business has the best hot wings in town that I have tried. They are by far the meatiest wings I have eaten. The Wednesday all you eat wings are only $9.99. Can't be beat!!! Now comes the bad stuff. First the place is too loud. Next, all the overhead tv's are tuned to the very boring ESPN Sports Center. Next, is the extremely long time it takes to get your food. Even on days when there are few patrons it takes 30+ minutes. If you get a reorder it takes over an hour to have a meal. Not very good for the lunch patrons. The last complaint I have is with their outside smoking area. You have to walk thru all the smoke and stink to get inside. They need to install a side door so non-smoking patrons can bypass this. They seem to have many patrons eating the raw oysters which I don't intend to try. They also have some good sandwiches if you have time for the long wait. Even with the listed problems I will still come for the wings since I am retired and have plenty of time to sit and wait.
The best seafood in town. Crab cakes and oysters are incredible. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Treat yourself and visit Saltwater Seafood Company.
I ordered mullet and only got one small slab cut into four pieces. I said this is ridiculius and they said it's by the weight. I'll never go here again.
If you're looking for really good seafood do yourself a favor & check this place out! The Catfish fingers are so good.. Yum!
Give them a call and they will smoke up mullet for you that day! You can't beat it!!
