My baby got Head Foot and Mouth disease after going to this facility. I immediately got my baby out! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I had my son going to this daycare for about six months. There was constantly new teachers in the classroom and I feel as though my son never got to know one fully, and they never got to know him. Once one of the teachers even tried to send me home with a child that was not even my son. They did not bother to get to know me or my son and I found that scary and unprofessional.
If you want to go for the VPK please do not go for this place. They do not allow outdoor for VPK or Pre- k kids. They are very interested in full time students and waiting to fill up with full time students. Full time students are given much space and are kindly treated than VPK students .VPK students are treated with partiality. They make them play in a very small place & overly disciplined for their ages . Not a friendly environment. There are very kind and friendly schools nearby .You should consider them .Before enrolling here please have a visit with other schools.I do not recommend this school to any one. The management people are rude especially Jenifer Keister . When she is in the other management staff & teachers are nervous. She treats the parents very badly . She does not have any kindness . She is rude and very very business oriented. She sees every kid as money. How much money this kid will give ! when running a noble business like schools she should have some basic kindness rather than money .Definitely money is their god.
AWFUL! ABUSIVE! Having worked at Gallop's Family Center as an after school counselor, I would not recommend this place for any child. The environment is emotionally toxic. Students are physically and verbally abused by administrators. Several students have left after being physically abused by the administrators. Mr. Gallop, Mrs. Franklin and June all strike fear into the hearts of the children. I have seen it and you can ask the other counselors for the truth. After a long day of school, students need to relax and play but fun is not a priority here. Every day was a struggle to force many of the students to go to karate, often resulting in tears. Most of them didn't want to do karate but they were forced to. I have seen Mr. Gallop ask the children as a group if they like Karate and they all say yes in unison but when asked privately by someone they trust, they say they hate karate and they just told Gallop what he wanted to hear. For the love of your child, do not send them here. There many other after school pickup programs such as Tally Arts. I was not fired and I am not writing out of spite. I am simply writing for the love of all children and from the pain which I witnessed during my employment.
As a single mother, finding a place that is affordable and that I can depend on is important. I signed my son up at Gallop's initially for summer camp. I LOVED it! My son now goes there for after school. They have a bus pick him up directly from school. They do so much with the children and the staff are all very friendly. Extremely convenient hours, cost effective, they help the kids with homework, very organized, etc. AND... they learn self defense! They treat you like a family. I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to do so.
I placed my daughter here when she was two, back in 2008. When I had my son in December, I was delighted that Imagination Day School had opened and infant room. I absolutely LOVE the infant room! The two ladies working with the babies (Ms. M and Ms. D) are loving, nurturing, caring, and super protective about those babies! Although our daughter is now enrolled in school, she still comes back for the awesome summer camp provided by IDS. We love our summers with Ms. B and Ms. T! The only classrooms that are completely enclosed are the baby rooms. The rest are separated by solid wall partition, and I have never witnessed a room unattended. Like most daycares, there is a kitchen, but I have never seen a child in the kitchen, even with staff. When I have had concerns about anything, I simply spoke with the owners who are there every day to assist the staff in caring for the children. The biggest problem is that some of the parents at this day care could benefit from some parenting classes. Some of the parents are a little rough. But, this is a family style daycare. I wouldn't want my children anywhere else!
Sometimes, I pick up my sister's child and I noticed the employer and employees are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very organized and clean. The most important thing is the children seems to be very happy.I think this is the child care center for you. Check it out.
