I have been going to HP Midcity for almost 2 years now. Their classes and instructors are the best in the city. Don't be intimidated if you are new to spinning or yoga. The instructors will meet you wherever you are and be supportive. The spin bikes are state of the art and come equipped with personal computers to keep track of all of your metrics. You can also sign up to get e-mails of all of your statistics if you are interested in distance, speed, calories burned, etc. I also use their mobile app on my phone to quickly check the class schedule and sign up. I highly recommend trying out a class if you are at all curious. Bicycling Buddha class with Mark is super fun, and I really love any spin class with Brooke, Shani or Collin. Happy sweating!

From Business: Prestige Fitness was the first fitness center in St. Bernard Parish to open up after Hurricane Katrina. I was looking to do my part to help in the recovery of St.…
This club owner is very rude. I went in for an interview and talked to the manager and had a nice interview. After waiting almost 2 hours for the owner he stated to me I don't want to talk to you. I have been in this business for over 30 years and I have never been talked to like that.
My results after a short period of training were impressive. Within 2 weeks, friends could see the difference in my body. Not only were the sessions challenging but I was motivated to push further than what I thought capable. The trainer was very compassionate and worked hard at helping me reach my goals.
At Captain Perks Fitness there is an inviting atmosphere and they are dedicated to seeing you reach your goals.
THIS GYM IS AMAZING!! THE STAFF IS SO FRIENDLY! CHRIS IS MY PERSONAL TRAINER AND HE IS AWESOME!!! 24/7 gym with the best prices!!!
Look out!!! my girl friend started the fitness program and she looks and feels so good that I better start going just to keep up with her. Thanks for making our lives better!!!
This gym is not law enforcement friendly. It is one of the very few in the New Orleans area that does not offer professional discounts for military, law enforcement or fire firefighters. On top of that, they offer very little flexibility for putting accounts on hold for deployments (more fees). They are also not open on Sundays, and have no control over their own billing - it's all handled by an unfriendly central billing company not in New Orleans. What that means for you is that you can't rely on any promises made by the manager (I think is name is JJ?) of the club there in Robert E. Lee. My advice? Find a different gym unless you never travel, don't work M-F, and don't want to work out on weekends.
