For grocery shopping in Tacoma there is only one place I prefer to go shop and it has nothing to do with the price or location of the store. Parking might be tight and I may have to pass two other stores from my house to get there, but because of the quality of service this store puts out I would not go anywhere else. The family feeling that the staff has just makes you feel more involved with the community. When the snow fell last week, I got to witness the owner out in the parking lot shoveling snow himself. I wish more store operated with the care and passion that Stadium Thriftway does.

Great prices, great food, great staff. This is how I balance my budget since we retired. We are having ham, fresh asparagus, Idaho potatoes all from GO for Easter. All at bargain prices. Go bargains!
I just bought $15 of inedible red grapes. This has been a good store but lately their fruit has just been awful. Avoid produce.
