Dr Youngho Kim graduated from Keimyung University’s schoold of Medicine in South Korea in 1999. He then went on to serve as a primary care physician for 3 years in South Korea. He retutned to Keimyung University to study Internal Medicine and finished his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York in 2008. Dr Kim moved to New Mexico to become a hospitalist and program director of the hospital medicine program at Rehoboth Mckinley Christian Hospital. After deciding to further his education in 2013, Dr Kim attended University of New Mexico Health Science Center to begin his nephrology fellowship. We went on to the University of North Carolina for advanced training in glomerulonephritis which he completed in June 2017. Dr Kim in board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology.

Internal Medicine
Dr. Ge received his degree from Shanghai Medical University in 1987. He moved to the States the following year and received his Ph.D in biochemistry at Case Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Having served his residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland’s Mt. Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Ge commenced a Fellowship in Nephrology at Stanford Medical Center in California. He completed his studies and became Board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology in 2000 and again in 2008.

Most of our consultations and treatment are conducted at our two Pacific Nephrology offices conveniently located in Tacoma and Federal Way. We manage the care of our dialysis patients at several local treatment units in the area. For patients requiring hospital services, our physicians have admitting privileges at most of the major hospitals in Pierce and South King Counties. We accept most major medical plans. We also accept MasterCard and Visa.

After receiving his degree from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea, Dr Howon Lee moved to the United States to serve his residency in Internal Medicine at State University of New York Downstate, where he also completed his fellowship in Endocrinology in 2009. He went to work in diabetic research until 2011 before becoming a Hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey. Dr Lee then commenced a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology and Nephrology.
