My wife and I had gone to great floors to carpet and tile our new home aswell for them to do the countertops. We had talked to Bob Sherman, I wish we had never done any business with this guy what a crook. We spent about 12k dollars he was nice enough when we picked out what we wanted, but when it came time for the work to be done he was a liar. The wrong countertops were done and the carpet pad we wanted was not installed we had order waterproff padding. I called him and he said it would get fixed the counter top was replace a few days later and he said the padding was done aswell, but I had pulled back the carpet in spots and signed my name. So my name was still there and he swore he and a friend had done it. It took 5 days before we had it replaced and they didnot do the stairs at that time but he saud they did but I sighned that aswell. two more days passed and the stairs were done, meanwhile we are waiting to move into our home. I talked to his store manager and he was very rude. DO NOT GO TO GREAT FLOORS IN TACOMA OR DO BUSINESS WITH BOB SHERMAN. Total crooks, my money was not defective, but they were.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

We ordered 8k worth of hardwood and we wanted to install ourselves.

The manager ""Mike"" was the most rude and condescending person I have ever dealt with.

The sales people were even worse, they were angry because we had come in once to look and figure out what we wanted and when we came back in to purchase the same rude sales person was not there so we talked to a different person. From then on they would not talk to us, they completely ignored us, left us standing at a desk with a question and no one would help us.

Dealing with this company and their horrible employees was the worst experience we have ever had, in our 25 years of home improvement projects!!! I would not use great floors ever again if you paid me too!!!!

I would rate this company with a -1 rating, but that tating is unavailable!! Like the other reviews, I not only experienced a delay in getting my order, but I also experienced extremely poor customer service. In addition, I found that their prices, were significantly higher than the competion, and was able to save a significant amount from one of the competors on exactly the same product. This company also has an environmental delivery fee for some of their products, which adds to the cost of the items being purchased. The competors did not have this fee, thus another savings when comparing costs. I will NEVER do business with this company again!!!!!!

Very Poor Customer Service

I ordered two T Moldings on Saturday. They couldn't verify how much it would cost till Monday. I got my one and only call on Monday telling me how much and that it would take three days to get in. Well, after work on Thursday I went to get my T mouldings. It wasn't there but it should arrive on Friday. I called this time to check if it was in. After being hung up and not being able to get a call through for two hours I went home and called from there. It wasn't in but it would be in on Monday. Monday I called and they said it was in. So after work I drove up there and they couldn't find it. They would call me the next day to tell me the status of the T moulding. Here it is Wednesday and no phone call so I called and wanted to know where my T moulding were. They didn't know and asked if I wanted to talk to the GM. Who wasn't there so I asked to reverse the charges on my credit card and am still waiting on that phone call to verify if the transaction was completed. I can't wait to end this saga. Like Qwest, Sprint and AT&T I will never do business with Great Floors again.

Bad service

Despite nice stores, Great Floors has VERY bad customer service compared to mom-and-pop carpet shack. We installed carpet in our bedrooms, ended up feeling very disappointed with their service. There are closet doors in each of the bedroom and the installer did not even bother to put the closet doors back in, with excuse that doors would not fit after carpet and padding were installed. They could draw the hole at the points where the doors should be put back on. Or they could shave the bottom of the doors. They did not inform us, despite the fact my fiance left his cell number and asked to call if they run into a problem.

We called them after we come home and found the closet doors lying around, but they never try to make ANY effort to give good service. We called and left messages, they never call us back.
