Ashley House

They tell u they train u so u can get ur child home when all they really do is sit on their a$$ and collect money! They are super nice to u when u first arrive and than they start attacking u telling u that u need to be there everyday. As if parents don't work! One nurse named Carla told me that I had better be at my child's next doctors appointment or CPS would be called. She told me about the doctors appointment the day before my child had the appointment! She tells me I must be at ashley house at 7:30. I told her i have another child that needs to be on the bus at 9:00 and she told me that i should take my child out of school when she had just missed a week due to being sick. I told her the school told me she can't miss another day this month and she said what is more of a priority? They are both my priority! Then I have Debra one of the ladies that oversees all the ashley homes telling me I need to make a better effort even though I've been making every appointment and being at ashley house 3 days a week 4 hours a day! They don't do anything unless u ask them to teach u. If they had it there way they would never let your child come home! They also told me I needed a home check! As to say my home is unsafe! I feel like I'm being scrutinized by these people! Did I put my child in a child's nursing home or an adoption agency?! This is after all my child! Being threatened by them to call CPS for missing 1 doctors appointment! The nerve of these people! I will be trying to get my son back up to Children's very soon so I can finally get him home! My advice, if u want your child home in a timely manner DONT PICK ASHLEY HOUSE!
