My son purchased a Retron3 6 days ago for 69.99. We took it home and set it up. The image on the screen was jagged and jarring. I reread the directions, tried different (higher quality cables), I even tried running the video/audio through auxiliary jacks on my DVD player but the Retros3 gave a headache inducing image. I repackaged everything and brought it to the store where we purchased it. I was told they would not refund me because the box was opened. I tried to get store credit and they flat out refused me. (And yes, I had the receipt.) I tried to see if they had a Retron5 (uses a HDMI cable) to upgrade to and they did not. I am out 69.99 and that is not including the 2 controllers and Mario NES game that I had purchased with the Retros3 at this location. I told them their decision would either make me a repeat customer or one who wrote a bad review. They were indifferent and wouldn't accommodate me. Hence, I am writing this negative review. If you want a legacy game or console and are in Syracuse, go to Voltage. Those people are so accommodating and understand the value of a dollar. If you are in the Utica area, Replay Games is also a good store.
