I'm surprised to see some of these negative customer service comments here.I bought my slabs through Lowe's in Oswego, who went through Stone Central in Syracuse. My experience with them was actually exceptionally good. I've interacted with 6 staff members in total and every single one was uncommonly kind and professional. They made a few minor mistakes but got everything resolved without a fight.I will give this helpful tip, as I read about it before making my own purchase.These stones are natural, so they don't have control of what the batches will actually look like. You should always DEMAND to see the slab before you sign off on them. If you don't ask, you'll get what they have.I specifically asked and when I saw the slabs I was planning to buy (2 different types, for 2 different rooms), I changed them both! They were perfectly fine with it, even though I had already signed the contract through Lowe's.It's been nothing but a great experience for me. But make sure you demand to see the slab!
Bought my Countertops through Lowe's in Auburn, NY. Was contacted promptly by Stone Central and the Template was done in a week and a half. I was given the option to view my slab before it was cut, which I did and it was just beautiful and the people were very nice. My countertops were installed 3 and a half weeks after template and I can not say enough good things about the care and expertise that went into the installation. The men who came to install were very friendly and did an amazing job. Could not be happier with the outcome.
Absolutely the worst customer service! We ordered our countertop through Home Depot. Told 2-3 wks after template for install. They didn't show up for template and after being told install would be in 3 wks they changed it to 6-8! Stay away!
Customer support less than what you should expect. Granite slab completely different color than shown in store. Stone Central Response: they are 7 miles into the cut and stone colors change. As a customer, I understand, but they should inform the stores that sell there stone that the color is not longer the same. Very deceiving marketing. Message to Stone Central: Provide updated samples to your stores so the customers are better informed. We expected more from the experience. Highly recommend you seek other options for your kitchen remodel. John
Very poor customer service. Left several messages for a call back with their offices in Cortland, who emailed Hillarie to call me. Waitedc 3 days, with no response. Called their business number and was unable to leave message as the answering service says, messages are full.
