Our animal hospital has used Wedgewood for the past year to order compounded prescriptions for our patients. Three times this year, we have received a partial order of a medication. Each time we ordered, we ordered 30 tablets, and we received 5. When we call to inquire, they say that they only had 5 in stock and they need to compound the other 25, and that they will be shipped as soon as they are ready. On one of these occasions, they forgot to ship the other 25, and we received them 2 weeks after we should have. Each time we have ordered this medication, none of the customer service reps let us know that they did not have all the pills in stock. One week ago, we ordered another compounded suspension, and again, were not told that they did not have it. Yesterday, one week later, we called to find out where the medication is and they said they don't have it in stock. We ordered this a week ago, needing it as of yesterday, and we found out the day that we needed it that they don't have it. The customer service representative did not tell us they didn't have it when we ordered. We are going to be using another DEPENDABLE pharmacy from now on. Customer service reps are aweful and can't pay attention to what they are doing!
Why did you take this order from my vet, then process it and my payment when I called, only to hold it up and informing me it was re-filled too soon. It is eyedrops, it is not premeasured doses, have some common sense, did you ever try administering it to a dog, who has never experienced it before, even people flinch and move when it goes in, it gets wasted, to expect it to last 75 days is stupid - you are wasting my time, now I can't even get it from you overnight, supposedly "its a holiday" the holiday is not until thursday now I have to wait 3 more days, Wedgewood Pharmacy you do not care about the pet or your customers, you are just stupid.... stupid....stupid.
Easy to get to in Pureland, right off 295S exit 10. People are very nice at counter and my compounded meds are ready.
At first I felt Wedgewood was great. They sold me the same medication my vet was for 1/3rd of the price. I ordered the same script several times without trouble.However, I had to rush the same medication a while back and ordered it early in the day and requested next day air. I paid the rate and didn't receive my medication until a couple of days later. I called customer service and was met with a fairly rude senior support specialist who basically told me I shouldn't have ordered it overnight and next time I should just expect things to take 2 or 3 days before they ship it. Yes, they credited me the shipping back but the representative was horrible. If you can't ship something overnight then don't leave that as an option for your customers.The next incident I ordered a new type of medication from Wedgewood on Monday with normal shipping. Come Saturday I was wondering where it was so I called the pharmacy. Again, I was sent to a senior support specialist who could not tell me what happened other than apparently the lab didn't get the "print out" to fill the prescription. This representative was much better than the first, and she did all she could to refund shipping and setup free overnight shipping, but I made it quite clear if anything like this happens again I'm done with Wedgewood.My best recommendation is you keep an eye on them, make sure things are getting processed.
