Fast service. Steve communicated to us what was wrong with our golf car, what would need to be repaired and the cost.
Horner Group is the ONLY Gem Golf cart repair in the valley (or that we could find) so we HAVE to go to them for repairs. But I am very upset and dissatisfied with their customer service and even their repairs. We had a flat tire and a bad battery (so we thought - since it would just stop while we were driving and wouldn't hold a charge very long). It was picked up, and that process was fine. But then they told us that there was a bad battery and that they fixed the tire. We said okay, the billed us and we paid. THEN, a few days later the same issues happened while driving it (dying on us while running errands for our organization). So we called back to see what they could do, and they said nothing. It would be a whole different service and charge to take it back in. So I just called today to get it repaired AGAIN.. and the lady on the phone first mumbled so much, then had the nerve to correct me and tell me all the batteries should have been changed if we had one changed (which no one ever mentioned that before) and that they never do anything like that without asking (which they didn't ask). We would have changed them all to avoid having issues like this when we need our cart for events.In general the lady was VERY rude, snippy, and not helpful. We are not satisfied with Horner Group.
I'm sorry for this man's experience as my employee, a wonderful kid, didn't understand the business was closing and this sale was simply too complicated and required too many special custom components. A&A is closed now. The TV segment about the previous owner, Kenneth Jones Barker and Mary Elizabeth Wheatley on Channel 12 news devastated our business. We believe we delivered a quality product that should last you many years. Service of your cart can be performed by any Club Car Dealer and most independents.
