My 83 year old mother Jeanne entered into property management agreement with this company. They rented to a young couple who vacated the property only 6 months into a one years lease! The company in question failed in two areas (Ensuring Market Readiness) they failed to adequately inspect the property after the tenants left. We found thousands of dollars in damage to the property as well as requiring major cleaning to bring it up to market ready standard. She even had to hire and pay for the work required by herself! They also failed in (policy enforcement) in the caring and treatment of the rental property that resulted in the damage to the property clearly their responsibility on both counts!!Under Wisconsin Law We need to make a reasonable attempt to rent the property while the leaseholders continues to pay on their lease which she is willing to do but not with the current rental management company. They sent her a letter that they want to terminate the contract at the end of April when renewal comes due, leaving a month left in the lease with the destructive tenants. Since we believe they are in breach of the contract which would require legal action, we strongly believe there has also been a breach of trust and would like them to do the right thing and terminate the contract ASAP. Since again, we would like to make a reasonable attempt rent the place, but not with this clearly negligent rental company!I also feel this is borderline elder harassment since she isn't sleeping does not want to go through a court process and would just rather incur the loss of damage, the deposit and the remainder of the lease. As well as the additional court costs from the rental company If she terminates any additional contact with them which she would like to do. You have to be pretty low too want to put an elderly person through that!Run from this company as fast as you can!!!David S. Downs
Whoever drives the van cut me off at McDonald’s. 1/5. I really would expect more careful driving from a company that should be managed by professionals, not labradoodles.
Highly recommend. The staff were nothing but professional. My security deposit was returned within the time frame I was told. If the vending machine took my money(happened often) the manager returned my money the next day. If there was a maintenance issue, it was solved immediately. I wish all property managers were like this.
They are a great rental company to work with, really good people and very accommodating!
Awesome staff! I am not sure what happened to Tom or Landon, but my experience with NRR has been awesome! They are always friendly and the apartment was painted when I moved in so that was nice! They were very helpful in explaining everything in my lease when I signed. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a nice apartment.
If I could give a zero, I would. My husband and I have moved around and dealt with many rental properties, with him being in the military. This was by far the worst and most rude property We've dealt with over the U.S. States we've lived. Our lease was contracted to end on a specific date and because we didn't call to confirm that date with a 30 day notice, they are trying to extend our lease. Why would we call to confirm that the date is indeed the date we signed in the contract?!?!
Good company to deal with, if you can handle being lied to time after time. Every time you go into their office you deal with a new or different employee that doesn't know what they are dealing with, and has to get someone else to help you. When we moved out we were charged almost $900 in damage that by law in considered normal wear and tear. Which legally can not be charged to a renter when you move out of a property. We had a broken window in one of the rooms that was broken to being installed incorrectly and they charged us over $150 to have it fixed, to make that issue better we spent the most of the winter without an actual window. Just a piece of pink insulation in place of the window. which did noting to keep the cold air our. all in all do not rent from northland rental. Their properties are nice because they charge your whole deposit upon move out to redo the entire place, and it has not happened just to us, every person i ever know who rented from them had the same issue. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY
When we started renting from Bachand group it was good for about 2 months than we started to get screwed over. First off our lawn service was supposed to be included. Than we were told that it all of a sudden was our responsibility. Their 24 hour service is a bunch of crap. Our toilet broke on a Friday night and they asked if it could wait till Monday because they prefer not to work on weekends. Than in the spring our basement flooded and told us that it would be our job to clean it was not in our lease. And after we moved out, they kept part of our deposit because " the floors were dirty and the walls needed to be painted " no crap!! The house was a dump to begin with and when we moved on we actually had to clean the house before we moved in. Moral of this is do not rent or trust Bachand Group. They might be one of the largest companies around that handles rental properties but their management is extremely poor.
I have been renting from Bachand Group for over 2 years and have been pleased with their customer service and their maintenance staff. I have had the maintenance staff out for a couple of repairs and found them to be very professional. Great company to rent from.
I have been working with Bachand Group for many years now. I've had nothing but good experiences when dealing with any issues that have come up. Keep up the good work.
