Oakland Academy

Outstanding preschool. After visiting 6 surrounding schools, Oakland Academy was my choice. As soon as I walked in and met the staff and teachers, I knew by instinct that I trusted sending my son there. Everyone is so pleasant and they truly care and love the kids. I recommend this school to anyone seeking child care for their child/children. They are absolutely the best.

Amazing School!! My son has been there since he was 6 weeks old (currently 3 years old). Although I am a teacher and have worked with kids for 15 years, i was so reluctant to leave my newborn with complete strangers. The staff was so wonderful to my family and I and really care for my son. It made my transition so easy. Now my son barely says goodbye to me in the mornings (which hurts but let me know that he feels comfortable). The staff are very friendly, well educated and knowledgeable at what they do. They truly care for the well being of your child. They have an open door policy and any questions or concerns I may have had, have always been resolved without a problem. They really take the time to work with you and your child. I truly recommend this school to anyone looking for a great education for their child.

Great preschool. The staff is wonderful. My husband and I have no worries when we drop our 2year old daughter at this daycare. The activities are informative and fun for the kids. I wish the staff at Oakland could follow my daughter throughout her whole school years.

This is absolutely the best preschool that I have ever seen. My daughter and nephew just finished Pre-K and they had such a wonderful experience. From their first day of school to their last their day, it always felt like I was dropping them off to close family member. That's how warm and caring all of the staff are. Ms. Michelle and Ms. Kelly always had a smile on their faces soon as we would open the door. Ms. Marcia, Ms. India, Ms. Gail, and Ms. Frankie are absolutely amazing and wonderful teachers. For only 3 hours a day my kids learned so much from lacing their own shoes to writing their full name, address and phone number. My daughter will be going there when their isn't any school and for Summer Camp from now on. I truly recommend sending your kids to school if you live in the area.

Daycare is your child's home away from home. For most families, their child is there at least 40 hours a week. So choosing the right daycare can be nerve wracking! Trust me, I was in the searching stages for a long time! I even tested out some "what seem to be very appealing" places. What I learned through my experience was that the "Harvard University approved modes of teaching, thousands of dollars on fancy playground equipment, the my baby can read sessions, or even the webcams in every room, to watch your child from home", were just distractions from really meeting and getting to know the actual people that will care for, interact with, teach, etc for your children. At Oakland Academy, those people came to be a family to my children and myself. I cant say enough wonderful things about the people or the care provided to my children. I would highly recommend anyone to consider Oakland Academy

This school has exceeded all my expectations. The teachers have made our transition into preschool so easy and enjoyable. These lovely ladies really care for each child and it is very apparent. My son loves coming to school and has made great progress since he started attending. I have already referred 2 friends and they are just as happy as I am!

Oakland Academy is the best preschool ever. Going through theOakland Academy door, I felt welcomed by both Melissa and Michelle. Amazing people! Michelle was willing to answer any questions or concerns that I had with a smile on her face. They also welcome random pop-ins to ease my mind. My son went there for over two years and he was well taken care of. Believe me, I am one of the more protective mothers. There was never a day in the almost 800 days that he went there that I worried about his happiness, how he was being treated and what he was learning. I live near the FLL airport and never hestitated about the distance. In fact, I regret that he could not continue there. If you are looking for a preschool for your child, consider Oakland Academy first. You won't regret it!!

My 3 children attend this school and I couldn't be happier. They are loved, educated, and safe. My oldest is totally reading in Kindergarten now and my younger two are learning the academic and social skills needed at their ages. There is little turnover and the staff members are friendly and communicative. I reccomend this school to everyone that asks!!
