Great atmosphere unlike most Caribbean Restaurants. I was warmly greeted at the door. The Oxtail is excellent as is most items on the menu!!
The quality of food has dropped. The price is to high. It is as if these people forgot their target market. Del Bodegon is better for everyone.I have been here a few times. And the empanadas are flavorless. The sandwiches are not tasty. The cafe is overpriced. For the price I ought to go get a nice steak or other finer dish. It's priced almost as fine dining. Del Bodegon has a better taste and less costly. The salsa picante at havana is just crystal hot sauce. But at Del Bodegon they make their salsa. And flavor is out of this world. Remember also like most of the immigrants and Spanish community we are not wealthy like Mr Havana so to go out is a treat but we can't afford to eat our cultures delicacies because 2.50 for a simple empanadas that has no meat and lots of flour and not peppers or onion. The pictures on the board look great but it has no taste. At Del Bodegon we can have from inexpensive to great meals and all have the same quality and passion. I'm sorry to say but havana is just a novelty and not a real restaurant. It shames the Spanish culture. I will be going to Del Bodegon to eat and be with my down to earth brethren.
I recently got married and we spent our honeymoon in Florida. We had a wonderful dinner here with terrific service! Unfortunately, we left our camera. We were packing for the airport when we realized we had to have left the camera there. When we got back to VA, I called them and sure enough they had the camera. They shipped the camera back to us via UPS (never asking us to pay) and the change that we in the camera case was still in it. Not only is their food and service top notch, they are honest too! I know when we get back to Florida, this will be the first place we go to!
The shrimp scampi was the best I've ever had
