I am not a quilter, only an amateur seamstress Eddie is knowledgeable and provides fantastic service. You cannot put a price on the service he provides as far as machines go. Prices for fabrics and thread (non-quilting stuff) may not meet the lower prices of corporate places but Eddie makes up for that 10 fold for the free lessons and repairs on the machines. Don't be fooled by the tiny storefront - the inside is HUGE (it's narrow but very long).

They have some of the cutest and unique printed material I have seen. My friend loves cowboys and they had this one in the window!

I liked Eddie's Quilting Bee because they had multiple brands to try: Bernina, Babylock, and Juki .

I heart Eddie's. This store has an amazing selection of quilting supplies, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and Eddie himself has repaired and replaced parts on my sewing machine. Fabulous customer service. It's not exactly a convenient location for me, but I'm willing to drive the hour to peruse their fun fabric selection and chat with the staff about projects I'm working on. They even carry Koala sewing cabinets, and they offer free classes with the purchase of new sewing machines. Speaking of classes, I haven't taken any because I live too far away, but their list of classes is incredibly comprehensive and reasonably priced. They have such fun fabrics and supplies, it's a challenge to leave empty-handed.

If you sew, you must stop here. I'm not a quilter but I love this place. The fabric selection is fantastic. I drool over their Asian prints and batiks. They have a good selection but it's very cotton heavy which is fine for me most of the time. I also bought my last sewing machine here (a Janome - a fabulous machine!). I got lots of help with the selection and after I bought it the salesperson asked if I wanted to open it up and learn to thread it and everything on the spot. I was sewing away like a pro as soon as I got home.

They have a really wide selection of fabrics, it's well organized by general fabric theme, and prices are comparable with other quilting stores in the area. Lots of supplies, lots of pre-cut fat quarters.

If you like to sew, quilt, or do anything with needles --- sewing needles that is --- this place is THE place to go. They have sewing lessons for those who are wanting to learn, as well as knitting stuff, quilting classes, just about anything you want to know about needlework and more. The staff are happy to help and offer advice.

Has a good selection of interesting cotton fabric and nice quality fabric. Also a large notions selection. Relieved I don't have to go to Joanne's anymore, that place is awful.

I bought my serger and my sewing machine at EQB, I'm very happy with the fact that I get 3 years of free tune ups for my machines and discounts because I bought them there. Most of the classes are great, and they are creating more of them for just regular fashion sewers. They have guest instructors, like Sandra Betzina from Vogue.

Some of the sales people need a little more customer service training and how to be friendly, but overall, it's a great place.
