The bottom line is, the USPS just sucks all the way around. I read reviews of other locations and the horror stories are exactly the same. Lost mail, attitude, long lines..it's just the the US government. All government services are understaffed and slow as sludge. I personally am friendly with the staff here and don't have a problem except for the usual garbage service as I listed above.



I also agree with the poster below me who is sick of the homeless (who now have an encampment on the left side of the post office) and the Tea Party wackos out front. But this is Sunland, scumbag central. Although quite frankly, after reading the Silverlake location reviews, I feel like I am lucky to at least have this branch. Los Angeles in general just a gross, crowded, tiresome city with crap services and overly expensive place to live for the quality of life overall.

I don't make a habit of leaving bad reviews. But this place is the pits.



Inside..

Theres ONE clerk on.. the signage they have advertising passport services is pure fiction.. the woman went on a lunch break and people showed up on their lunch breaks and there was a line of 4 people waiting on a passport clerk who wasn't there.



Outside...

There are tea party wierdos outside the post office with folding tables decrying Obama's sins while homeless people root around the cloths drop bin. Barely any parking.



Wait time...

It took 25 minutes to get one stamp.

Avoid at all costs.

This place is a joke and has a lot of issues with packages that never made it to house but they claim to have delivered them at times people were home. Unbelievable. I'd suggest if you have these same issues to report to the general inspector also cause the post master has horrible customer service.

Horrible post office,put the mail on hold left 4 30 days found mail delivered on the street they never held the mail even though I have confirmation number

my Mail Box got full and they kept delivering for the whole month

lots of my mail was lost or refused costing me money

this place is a joke! i keep getting all my neighbors mail and i never get my important mail and documents like this insurance check i was waiting for or my new bank card i am sick and tired of this people! the mail man is blind he needs to retire or get new glasses! IT's disgusting how the supervisor doesn't even care about many messages that I have left him! SO BE AWARE PEOPLE IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR MAIL IT'S MOST LIKELY IN YOUR NEIGHBORS MAIL OR YOU WILL NEVER I REPEAT NEVER GET IT!!! OVERPAID ORIENTALS...... JUST QUIT ALREADY!!!!
