Total and complete rip off! The last owner was fantastic, These people will charge you for the use of shop towels to wipe their damn hands $20.00 no joke. I needed a $40 part and that is all. I know this because my husband is a master mechanic for Acura but was out of town. They tried to charge me $500.00 for crap I didn't need at all.They saw a female and figured I was clueless. DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!

I have been extremely pleased with the Service provided.. Manager Tom has given honest assistance and direction related to my repairs..



I go to him now first for all of my repair needs.

We were brand new to the area when the clutch went out on our 1974 Mercedes Diesel. We had the car towed literally across the street to a German Auto Repair. Unfortunately, the cost to get the car up and running was nearly 1/2 of the value of our car. We called to have the car towed across the street to sit, stranded. The tow truck operator suggested Mike's Sun City Sinclair. At that point, we were stranded. Tom greeted us with knowledge of the car and quoted a price at less than 1/2 of the first quote. It did take a few days, but we expected that. The total was fair and not inflated. The car was returned it perfect condition, as far as the clutch goes. But as with anything that age, we needed a brake repair. Same scenario. Tom gave us an estimate, we waited a few days (they had to order parts). The car was returned and they honored the reasonable invoice. In this case, with a little driving, we had a suspicion that the brakes needed adjustment. They took it right in, found the parts to be faulty (nobody's fault) and they replaced them at no additional cost to us. That is good customer service. We need a new alternator after vacation, same car. They have already given us a reasonable quote. The car is 41 years old, kind of cool, not especially valuable. With those things in mind, we are Thankful for Ray and Tom at Mike's Sun City Exxon. We trust them because they have earned our trust. Finally, before our trip to WA, we purchased oil and a filter for our 2004 SL500. We brought the car to Ray. He had the car up on the rack, and ready in no time. The mechanic said Ray "said no charge". What a great guy. This place is all about the customer. I will add that they are busy, for a really good reason. That may mean some wait time. It's worth it for us to take time. We highly recommend Mikes Sun City Exxon.

This station is so busy that sometimes they can get overwhelmed with all the business they do everyday. I had broken down and had my car towed to my house and then I had it towed to their shop because the new owner Ray said he could take care of my car and beat the prices that I would encounter at the dealership. So do to some communication problems at first we had our differences but once we got past all that they took great care of me and my vehicle and got it done without having to pay the high prices that I would have paid somewhere else. They were good peeps and I would recommend them to anyone in fact I will have my husband take his truck there for a new Transmission. Don't underestimate them they aren't as bad as people make them out to be and after all they do provide the service and time it takes to evaluate your vehicle. So you want to take the chance of someone else screwing it up or take to the guys that have been doing this job for over 30 years at that location. They are the experts so leave it up to them to take care of your precious cargos. They will get it right!

If I could give zero stars I would. Took my car here cause it was AAA recommended. Got a pretty good deal to fix my clutch/trans with no problems. Had a radiator issue, so I figured why not take it back since they weren't bad before. They supposedly "fixed" it with a new radiator and thermostat...and somehow my car managed to get 43 miles put on it (which I soon found out they use customers cars as personal transport vehicles for other customers) anyway, got my car back and it was worse then before. Overheating constantly. They diagnose a cracked engine block...a 8-10 thousand dollar repair. Go for a second opinion at the dealership and they inform me that the "mechanics" at this shop put orange coolant when my car takes green and turns my coolant system into peanut butter. Won't own up to their errors, blow my heater core up, cause god knows what type of internal damage to my motor. Not to mention they didn't even re install all the hardware for the radiator and left a pair of channel locks on my strut tower. These guys are grade A hacks. Don't give these jokes the time of day. Can't believe this place is even open. Must be all the naive Sun City residents.

Take your car somewhere else!! My girlfriend’s car broke down on the way to the lake, so AAA towed us to this repair shop. We did know it was the alternator that was shot and possibly more, but when we were quoted $270 for just the part (not including labor) from O'Reilly, we knew we were about to get taken for a ride. They must have thought we had stupid written across our foreheads. We decided not to go with their service and had the car towed home. We went to O'Reilly's and got the part we needed for $170 "which was their most expensive" and did the work ourselves. Fortunately that was the only problem and the car was fixed for under $200. We can’t help but wonder how much the total would have been for overpriced part markups and possibly work they never even did. Do yourself a big favor to your checkbook and stay away!!

i went to them because my warrenty company kept sending me there. i had a front end problem and brakes. about $2,000 later and they sent it out about 5 times my brakes are still doing the samething and 2 bad alignments lter it ate up my very expensive tires and they still never fixed it. i would never do any type of business with this place.

Scott at Mike's Sun City union-sinclair is a crook. I dare anyone to go this business with any kind of suspension, front end problems etc. and not be told that new tires are needed. Especially if you have out of state plates. AAA needs to be notified about this business and its practices. It should not be a top shop, it is at top scam. After experiencing some car troubles, I recently went to this shop based on recommendation from a friend. I found their staff to be very professional, their service to be top notch, and their prices to be very reasonable. I have since recommended them to varoius friends and neighbors based on my experience.

This place is laughable!!!! They offered me a free estimate for car repair (in my case a second opinion) and promised they could offer a better price. They also promised I would be under no obligation. They did not call as promised and when they finally did the price was almost the same, yet they were elimating much of the first shops parts. WHAT??? Went to pick up my car and they tried to tell me I would have to come back 2 days later and then produced a $100 estimate bill. My car was missing the front piece and they claimed it could not be found and owner's son verbally threatened both of us over the phone!! Saying he would come down to kick some a$$!!! Ragging and carrying on and telling me I could not take my vehicle until Monday. I immediately called the police as they were trying to use my car as a hostage. Sherriffs agreed! They stood by as protection while I took my car. Meanwhile, owner's son showed up after the fact and tried to start trouble threatening my ex husband and I and trying to start a fight!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY from these crooks!!!!!! They take advantage of people and their money!!!! There are better places in the area for repairs...please don't fall prey to these vultures!!!!!!! Unprofessional to where they are laughable...very sad!!!!!

This is a service station. However, the "service" seems to be limited to only those who need gasoline. Any semblence of "customer service" has long been lost at this business. I recently went in for some general repair and was rather disappointed with how the people working here treated their customers. The location suggests that they cater to an older crowd (Sun City) and they are under the impression that the same line of BS works on all of their customers. It doesn't! I was shuffled from one person to the next. Each was very pleasant and assured me that the repairs would be taken care of. After being told this and once the minor repairs were completed, they did not bother to check their work. Consequently, it had to be done a second time and only after many calls placed to pursue their progress after nearly 17 hours of inaction on their part. When I questioned their rates, I was told, "Hey...we're all here to make money." As soon as I heard that, I knew that I was in the wrong place and that customer service would not be a priority. I have read other reviews about this company and I am convinced that after my experiences here, any positive reviews were authored by the employees in an effort to improve their public image.

I will never advise people on what to do in terms of auto repair. However, I will share my experiences in the hopes that others don't experience the same. The only reason that they acheived even one star rating is that this site demands at least that. Otherwise, it would have been a -1.

With the sagging economy in place, remember consumers...you have options!
