I went to buy a bottle of a vitamin. They didn't carry the brand that I had been using. I bought another brand. I returned an hour later with the bottle still sealed & my receipt for a refund. She asked why I returned it. I asked if the reason was necessary. She said it's what you asked for. I said that my naturopath said it wouldn't work for me. Again she said that it was what I asked for. I said that my naturopath has a masters degree in nutrition, plus certification & ongoing training from a world renowned naturopath. She interrupted me to say with a stupid smile:"We're all educated." I looked at her & said "Just give me my refund." She informed me that she worked there 37 years & repeated her dumb statement: "We're all educated." Again, I said to her, "She's a specialist. Just give me my money back." Finally, she said, We don't give refunds, but I'm gonna give you your money back." This is the WORST customer service ever. I will gladly drive to Columbia from now on or order online.
I recieved great service there from an employee. I went in there at a later time in the day and the lady behind the counter was rude. Come to find out she was the manager. She was very proud of this because she could get away with her snippy comments. I was looking for a larger bag of Yerba Mate tea. She implied that most of her customers could not afford that and she catered mostly to them. Well, to be honest, her prices aren't that great. Amazon has her beat. I would love to shop local, but will look elsewhere from here on out. I am from the West Coast and not a local. I find people here are stuck in their past and I want no part of it. All i wanted was a larger bag of Yerba Mate tea for my IBS.
