I'm a bit of an authority when it comes to "New York" style pizza, being I'm from NY, and ate at pizzarias all my life. Tuscan Bistro is by far the best and most authentic pizza you will get in this entire area. A perfect balance of dough, sauce and cheese, where the crust is at the right thickness for "the fold", the sauce is not too sweet, not too spicy and the right amount of cheese. Toppings are abundant. When they sell "by the slice", their slice is almost double the competition's. The owners are Italian, and you can taste their pride in their food. Pizza, Calzones, Strombolis... and garlic knots... all the real deal. Pasta and meat dishes are also on the menu, and some dishes are unique to Tuscan Bistro. It's worth the trip. You won't leave hungry!
I COMPLETELY DISAGREE WITH ACCOUNTINGGIRL. BEING IN FOOD AND BEVERAGE I KNOW THAT EVERY RESTAURANT HAS THEIR OFF NIGHTS. I HAVE EATEN AT THIS PARTICULAR RESTAURANT SEVERAL TIMES AND STILL BELIEVE THEM TO HAVE THE BEST AND MOST AUTHENTIC PIZZA IN TOWN. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS POLITE AND HELPFUL, AND I ALWAYS RECEIVE MY ORDER WITHIN THE QUOTED TIMES, UNLESS IT HAPPENS TO BE A VERY BUSY FRIDAY NIGHT, WHICH IS TO BE EXPECTED FOR ANY RESTAURANT. IF ACCOUNTING GIRL WOULD HAVE STUCK AROUND LONG ENOUGH TO TRY THE FOOD I AM CERTAIN THAT HER REVIEW WOULD HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR REALLY AUTHENTIC HOMEMADE PIZZA.
We lived in SC very briefly and this meat pizza was the best pizza we've EVER had - by far!!! They weren't skimpy on the toppings and you could taste every ingredient with each bite. The crust was crispy but not too much and perfect thickness. Slices were HUGE and had to be cut. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pizza. As a matter of fact, we visited Myrtle Beach this summer, revisited our old neighborhood and had to stop and grab some pizza! My daughter did a restaurant review for school a few months back. I'm craving the pizza from here now and nothing around here (New England) compares! Oh - and the people who work here were very friendly and they do have live music. Enjoy!!
For the prices and then a $2.00 delivery charge the employees really ought to be extremely nice to customers. The young woman that took NY order was very cryptic and had absolutely no sense of humor. Her tone was very condescending. She doesn't need a job working with the public. If it wasn't for the fact that the food is good and I am less than 5 minutes away, I wouldn't go back because of her attitude. We work hard for our money and where we choose to spend it is up to us. Matt needs to remember this when hiring employees.
good place but all the pizzas are slightly undercooked. The "ready to go pepperoni" is pretty good. But other than that all my pizzas have been undercooked and ive been eating there for several years. i ordered a thin crust a week ago and couldnt eat it because the dough was like wet tissue paper. dont get me wrong i like little ceasars, i just think they should bake their pizzas a little longer or turn the heat up on the oven. Lately ive taken to taking my pizza home and putting it back in the oven until its do , e
I love this pizza but the order is more often wrong/incomplete than correct/complete. I always order Taco pizza and they always seem to forget the lettuce, tomato, hot sauce and sourcream. Oderered this week and was excited to see what looked to be everything there but NO sourcream in the lettuce box! Often times the staff that answers phone is rude once i had to argue with the girl to let me speak with a manager for almost 5 minutes. I think I have given up on Stoners for the time being.......
We have never had bad food there. It is busy I must admit but when your food is always good, that is what happens. We usually order carry out. Only one time did an item get missed when delivering it to us. We called and they put the error in their system and we received the item the next time. We were however given the choice to have it delivered again or credit. That was our choosing. We are very satisfied customers and will continue to order.
Amazing pizza! I'm from New Jersey and was on the hunt for good pizza here. Stumbled across Italian Bistro shortly after they opened and have been a regular since! The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the service is wonderful, and the staff extremely friendly. I'm there so much, they know me by my order if I call in ahead of time. I bring my family from NJ here as well when they visit.
This is the best pizza I have had ever. I used to think Uno's was a great place and they are nationally known. I had Famularis and they can't be beat. At the start their business was busier than they could handle but that is because they are so GOOD! They have since adjusted their staffing and I never have to wait.
Being a native New Yorker, this is the BEST outside of New York. Finally, a pizza parlor that is a real pizza parlor!! Great Italian restaurant for the entire family!!!
