Would not recommend the workers here are rude and do not know how to communicate with people the right way. Everything is over priced and a waste of money.
What a Nightmare! They charged me more than what I was quoted by a technician via telephone after the work was already done. No one could provide answers on why there was a price difference between what I was quoted and what I was charged. A new hard drive in a laptop should not have cost $239!$35.00 Diagnostic fee, $64 for the hard drive, and $140 in labor (which did NOT include installing windows & all the drivers)So what was all included in that labor cost other than swapping out the hard drive?? I’m not sure and NO ONE will tell me. I called Don Rucker at the number he posted on another review and guess what – HE DIDN’T CALL BACK! We all know I was over charged – but I needed the computer back, and since I couldn’t get any answers I had no choice but to pay it. I would stay as far away from this company as possible, they have no customer service, they have no posted fee’s, they do not care about their customers! From what I understand it is their company policy that if a customer doesn’t pay within 5 minutes from them entering the store, they can leave. If you have to use them my advice to you is GET IT ALL IN WRITING!
Although there is a Radio Shack sign above the store, they are a private franchise (?) therefore they do not honor Radio Shack promotions nor can you return Radio Shack purchased merchandise to this store. Quite the racket, they over charge you for merchandise you can purchase cheaper at other Radio Shack store and you can't return it once purchased! Do yourself a favor and go to North Charleston or Goose Creek. Better yet, go across the street to Best Buy
