Ok. This is our local Chilies. Went today at lunch. Hostess said it would be a 20 min wait. Ok sure will sit at bar and have a cocktail . Nope. She said. Can't do it. Yes they were busy but never heard of such.. we were in no hurry. We would have been happy to sit and have a cocktail and wait ... Disappointed!!!
This business was convenient for us since we work in Sulphur and could easily drop it off and pick it up. When you are having to make repeat trips for the same problem ?? Convenience does not matter. The excuses made as this place kept our vehicle a month before, during and after Hurricane Harvey were outrageous. We only know this because THEY never update you on your vehicle and WE only called twice in the month. My vehicle is once again down there with the same problem they charged us 500 dollars to fix, please note the 3 hour labor time spent ON my truck they kept for a month. They were always puzzled the two times we called as to what the issue was? or waiting on Dodge to call them back since they obviously were now clueless as to how to get my Headlamps to work in low beam as well as high beam. John Wells, the owner is rude and makes excuses for his crews inability to do a job correctly....ranging from "well they were bailing water out of their house" or letting them go early on Friday when we called because NOW my truck hood is not closing right....after a month at Meads Automotive. Funny how all of Houston was back up and running....truly devastated by Hurricane Harvey they were....and John is still saying his crew is bailing their houses out....is why my truck wasn't fixed in a whole month. It's back down there for the same problem....but it will NOT be back there AGAIN. If you want unreliable mechanics who are clueless....and a man who makes excuses for them and rewards them on Fridays by closing up shop early?? Meads Automotive is your place. I forgave when we brought our Jeep and it died at the red light and the Mechanics had to push it with my husband helping back into the parking lot...to be FIXED...AGAIN. But, nope....no more wasted money or time...Reviews Matter...too bad I just now looked at all the negative reviews Meads actually has against them. Here's another for them. --I see where John Wells responded that his business had doubled? Tripled? Also inviting the disgruntled reviewer to contact him? We are considered a repeat customer as are our grown children...and have been as understanding as we possibly can be ....but this should have and will never happen to us again. Because WE will not allow it to, not because John Wells remedied a thing with regards to this matter--Todd and Elizabeth Green ...let's make it easy for you , John...as if I already didn't.
My husband and I go too get the breakfast buffet usually, well it's Sunday so we decided brunch would be great. It sucked! First they weren't serving breakfast, okay our bad. But what they were serving sucked, it was greasy and bland. Didn't even know we had a waitress till we got the check, hostess seated is and served us our drinks. Needless to say we didn't get refills. Then when we get the ticket, come to find out the lousy buffet is over thirteen dollars a person. We could have gone too a nicer restaurant and got way better food for less with way better service. Never happening again!
Went to Maggie, the worse haircut ever! On top of that she cut my hair exactly like I told her NOT to.

Decided to Chili's in Sulphur after a disappointing experience with the one in Lake Charles. This wasn't much better. Our server was nice, but the food was subpar. Husband's burger was fine, but fries were cold & hard. My tilapia was hot, but the rice was half cold & broccoli was was under cooked; basically still raw & crunchy. There may have 10 people in the entire restaurant, & it took 45 minutes just to get served. No more Chili's in this area for us; both disappointed.
Very professional repair shop I broke down 1900 miles from home and John and Rich fit me in there very busy schedule. They even gave me a two year nation wide warranty. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone traveling. Todd Gilbert Billings Montana
Rip off! $700 for a fuel pump on a 2000 model Chevy Suburban! They thought I was from out of town so they stuck it to me. I have just recently relocated here and it seems that this place takes advantage of out-of-towers, beware.... I'll never use this shop again! On the bright side, the work seems to be good and the appearance of the place is professional.
